I bought it today and now I'm enjoying it! Great single malt, fruity with a smell of almond, citrus and maltiness. Reminds me a little a bit of Monkey shoulder without the vanilla
Yeah my first taste I thought there was a smokiness on the finish but I think I’m mistaken it for a spiciness on the finish very good very floral smelling wonderful I’m glad I tried it
This is on "clearance" status with PA state stores. Down from $60 to $47. Bought my first bottle and really enjoying it!! Planning to get a couple more bottles at this price. Assuming clearance means PA will no longer inventory.
Thank you sir for showing me this whiskey in Japan as an expat from Aus I love it’s reasonable priced I’m lucky as we get a good selection here in Japan and at the moment the tax on the whiskey you are able to buy and enjoy when you have a good day and relax and enjoy thanks again
Hey Horst! Can you review Monkey Shoulder for us please? It seems to be one hell of a whisky. But there are a lot of variations from batch to batch. Your fans would really appreciate a review.
I just got a text that my order of one bottle of this one has arrived so im gonna pick mine up in the day after tomorrow, cant wait and really looking forward to it, since it was some years ago that i last had this one at home
I'm not trying to prove anything, but the peat smoke is fairly prominent. Not dominant like in peated Islay or even Highland Park, but rather more like in blends. In fact, anyone who's ever tasted Johnnie Walker, would instantly think of JW if tasting Cragganmore 12. But I've encounter similar peatiness in other blends. I would even say this drinks like a good quality blend. This is a good way for those who are peat-shy to get acclimated to it.
If you would have spent. Only two maybe three minutes. Talking about the company while. Opening up the bottle and smelling. The aroma from the cork. You would have had a lot more time. To pour yourself a glass. Then let it have proper time breath. To experience all the flavor notes. Plus time laps does not hurt. The video in this case. Time laps is a prerequisite. I would remake this video. With far less history talk. And more time spent talking about. The scotch whiskey aroma and tasting itself.
@@ChrisPBacon-mo9ln the difference atleast to me is taste wise extreme oak can taste smokey or peaty etc. But smell wise things like cragganmore never smell smokey or peaty they smell malty unlike Laphroaig that smells like a campfire
Your VIDEOS are ALWAYS MOUTHWATERING .we love you SIR. KEEP making more INTERESTING videos
Haha "thanks for visiting." Our pleasure Horst, thanks for inviting us.

Won't Reading the label before tasting inevitably cause bias either to confirm or to disagree with it? I like the reviews!
My local Kroger sold this for 20$ because they found it in the back and didn't know what it was!!!!! Great day!
No one till now has told any negative about Cragganmore....this has more richness and complexity than the fiddichs and livets
I agree, this whisky is very very good... I drink whisky about 20 years
Where can i find the small bottle of this whisky?
Some comments on the nose, but little to no comments on the taste??? What happened here?

But from me exist something PPM..
Extreme oakiness flavours are often confused with smokiness
