If I’m Dallas I’m trading back to later in the 1st round if I can get another top 100 pick and would consider trading completely out of the first for an additional top 100-110, if we could get a super early round 2 pick (33 or 34 maybe) Dallas needs the picks bad. I did a mock draft on a simulator recently and traded back to 32 with KC and got an additional 3rd (#95) and 4th (#131). Then Tampa wanted our early 3rd (#87) for two of their 3rds (#89 and (#92) plus a 5th and 7th in 2025 which seemed like a no brainer. Ended up with:

This draft may or may not improve the Cowboys, but these players will keep the medical staff employed. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I don't feel optimistic. I hope none of these players ends up with injuries that disrupt the rest of their lives.

I would like O-line first 2 rounds with the tackle being first and then center in round two then rb or lb in round three and then best players available the rest of the way out as long as they fit a need for the team
I guess the team has so many holes and need for starters that everybody is willing to ignore injury history and the slide on all their draft stock because of it. I’d prefer this over what they did last year but it’s a very risky class
An OL is the obvious choice here, only other pick I wouldn't mind is Brian Thomas Jr, I know he's going to be a playmaker and TD machine with his size and speed.

This mock draft is not good. You need a starting left tackle. You have no depth at tackle. Tyler smith needs to stay at guard where he is a pro bowler. The linebacker has too many injuries. Stay away. The running back has an ACL injury. Stay away. Dallad needs o line and d line. Dallas needs to trade down multiple times in order to acquire enough picks to fill all of the needs. Cowboys better draft a lot better than last year or else bad things going to happen.

My confidence in the Cowboys' drafting is - 2. The Cowboys' scouting staff are currently among the worst in the NFL. They haven't drafted anyone to speak about in 2 years, plus ... since DaRon Bland, CeeDee, Micah and Tyler Smith. Last year's draft was a complete joke. The Schoonmaker, Mazi stupidity picks will no doubt carry over into this year's draft.

1st and 2nd rd picks are bad. i wouldn't be happy with those two picks that early. would not take wilson until maybe 3rd or 5th if there. Mims would be better overall at 1 if there. Brooks will not be there in the 3rd. he should be the second rd pick. 1,2,3,5 ALL have injury issues.....why draft so many with injury history?! Whittington? did you even watch Texas games? ummmm, no. drops passes and again injury prone. Never heard of Murphy so i have nothing about him. I"m not sure Crum will be there that late. my ideal draft (1st 3, if available) Mims, Sweat, Brooks (think he'll go in the 2nd) or draft Benson from FSU. i grade this fan led draft as an F. too many injury prone players and some that i know won't be there when the Cowboys draft. That would be taking too much of a risk.

The Cowboys only have CeeDee as a true threat on the offensive side of the ball. Cooks is a small older WR a #3 at best. Top NFL WRs are making $20M+ at a minimum. If a top WR is still on the board at RD 1 or 2 they should take him. A elite WR on a 5 year rookie deal is a steal. Tolbert is not it!
How is Dak supposed to get to a new WR if he doesn't have a good Oline to block. He'll be on his back before any top notch WR gets open. You can't go WR for the 1st pick. You would have to fill in Oline in Free Agency after the draft and you know Stephen will not spend anything. So going WR at #24 is not a good option, even if it's BPA.
Mock draft? For a mock team? What's the point? Like usual, Jerry with throw good money after bad, reward mediocrity, retain full control over personnel, undercut his head coach, overrate and over hype his team, promise a Superbowl, then continue to fail to meet that bar in the next season. No better example of Einstein's definition of insanity!

1st round: I’d argue that we don’t really need a center this year. I’m fine with Hoffman at that position, he looked solid in the limited time he got. I’d rather have Mims, Gayton or Barton.
