I've always heard that Laiatu Latu is the most polished edge rusher in the draft
He is, this account has no clue what they’re talking about
TPS is a joke
Me also he just doesn't t have the testing numbers and had a injury history
As a rusher, yes. You probably will like him if you already have edge rushers which are able top stop the run and use him on obvious pass situation. The biggest risk to take him is because of his career ending injury where Washington didn't clear him to play football again, but in UCLA they cleared him. Some NFL teams will probably don't draft him because he already had a career ending injury and they don't wont to risk a first round pick on him.
as a pure rusher he is
Still say Caleb Williams looks like a clear all-time bust. The fact that Chicago is drafting him is proof enough.
For me, steals could be Jordan Travis, Malik Washington, Ben Sinnott, Sataoa Laumea, Jordan Magee, Dallas Gant, Storm Duck, and Darrion Taylor-Demerson and potential busts would be JJ McCarthy, Tyler Guyton, Amarius Mims, and Dallas Turner
I’m a huge believer in Malik Washington he is gonna develop well if he goes to the right team.
Storm duck might go undrafted
Dallas Turner a bust? I guess it depends on how you define bust. If a drafted player becomes a reliable starter, that's a win to me. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be a Day 1 starter in ATL (assuming they draft him like every mock I've seen). What part of his game concerns you?
@@thebigjimmyd potential bust
@@thebigjimmydidk if I’d call him a bust but a lot of mocks have him as the first edge rusher off the board, and I’m not sure he’s better than Verse or Latu.
Latu is less polished than Dallas Turner?! Lmfao what? He is quite literally the most polished edge by far, and has the widest arsenal of pass rush moves in years
No he’s not he got no pass rush moves
@@djaveryjr4155 You don’t know ball
Latu is great, Dallas Turner is superior
He wouldn’t seethe field in a real conference
The Image of Rattler having the #7 Jersey in Denver is Laughable because the number is Retired for a HOF Broncos QB Named John Elway.
What nut scraping way will yall and the nfl keep la relevant this year?
years ago a running back from O State name Tatum Bell was drafted by the Broncos, he asked Elway for the jersey 7 and of course Elway said yes, completely out of line to ask, he had no right, Rattler not worthy
@@MegaDog2012 Your Comment Makes No Sense Since NFL Running Backs like T.Bell are prohibited from wearing Single Digit Uniform Numbers like #7.
Latu is the next Aidan Hutchinson, look at his PFF metrics. He also has a high floor and a high ceiling, he is a top 10 to 15 prospect for me
True only thing that concerns me is limited moveset which he can develop and then his injury history
Reminds me a lot of his former alumni. Jalen Phillips ! Both studs with health issues
Love Latu, hopefully he falls to the bucs. or the bucs move up to get him
If he is the next Hutch, he should be higher than top 20 for you.
@@coravoyx I meant to say top 10 to 15, I now see that is a typo
Penix is gonna be a steal
NOT. HE'S ALREADY OLD AND A SYSTEM QB WITH A LOT OF TALENT AROUND HIM. I DOUBT HE STAYS HEALTHY. I WOULD NOT WASTE A PICK ON HIM.
@user-gz2ob9rp6r IF YOU WATCHED A SINGLE WASHINGTON GAME LAST YEAR HE OBVIOUSLY HAS THE BEST ARM TALENT IN THE DRAFT AND STAYED PERFECTLY HEALTHY FOR 2 STRAIGHT YEARS AT WASHINGTON. YOUR ANOTHER JJ MCCARTHY MEAT RIDER
To the Atlanta Falcons at 8 😉
The biggest steal in this draft is going to be whomever winds up with Trey Taylor, safety out of Air Force. Jim Thorpe award winner. 6 foot 206lbs. Runs a 4.5 forty. Likely going late rounds or undrafted. He wasn't invited to the combine but had a 37.5 vertical and benched 22 times. He's not afraid of contact at all.
He's getting drafted
Hes a day 2 guy 2-3rd round. Very good player and the NFL loves pushing the Service Schools. Villanueva got all sorts of press and he was a OL.
I like Taylor as well. Gonna give you everything he's got. Maybe just a great special teams guy and a jack of many trades.
@@user-gz2ob9rp6r Don Beebe. He was a gunner on ST for the Bills forever. I could see Taylor do something similar.
Keep thinking that, Jonathan James McCarthy will be a bust… He will be far from it. He’s actually the most pro ready QB in this draft class. And this term, “Game Manager”… when are the clueless people going to realize that a, “Game Manager” is exactly what you want at Quarterback. The Quarterback is an extension of the head coach and OC while he’s on the field. Command the huddle, protect the ball, read defenses, move your team down the field and make smart decisions…. But people wanna use this term as a negative…. Be a clown if you want to…. But you are so clueless when it comes to football if you think that being a, “Game Manager” is a bad thing…
#GoBlue✊🏾💛💙
If my dynasty league competition follows advice like this, I'll end up with a stacked team. Keep up the good work LOL
Lmao I said same thing 😂
Spencer Rattler in my opinion is the most underrated qb in the draft and one of the hardest workers in this draft
Sam Hartman .
Came here to say this @@kidtrax6597
Bo nix
Well if we’re talking mediocre qbs let’s throw in Joe milton
@@fortshucker he not mediocre lil bro he good
I hope Penix lands in Vegas. That would be fun to watch. Great arm, quick enough to navigate a pro pocket.
Apparently 700 yards and 12 touchdowns is going off😂
It's pretty good. You troll
You guys have been so off the past few drafts that you're starting to sound like Mel Kiper lol
It would be cool to see Rice succeed like his father! Showing that size strength and speed isn't all that matters, that pure commitment to the game is most important!
It would be cool if a team selected Marvin Harrison Jr., Rice, and Shadeur Sanders
This whole qb class is a bust. Calling it now.
QB's hardest position to evaluate. I would be very reluctant to draft one with a high draft pick.
They greater the risk the greater the reward.
@@MaxPowersCFBoccasionally. Wasted top 5 QB picks are the norm.
@@user-gz2ob9rp6r You never know unless you pick it. All picks in the top 5 are high risk because of what you are asking of that play no matter the position they play. Value says take a QB because if you have to pay a player that much for being a top pick then you would want it to be the QB and if you strike gold then awesome but if not then usually you are right there again picking at the top of the draft so these things work themselves out. I think more so there are more bad organizations that "busts" and in the NFL there is not that much love for when you have to re-prove yourself again as you may not even get that one chance or if you do get one it may be very well short lived.
I like S Dakota's QB as a late round pick. Very competent. Sort of a Brock Purdy type.
9:32 HE WONT BE A BUST INJURIES AREN’T ANYONES FAULT
Penix lack of speed? He ran a 4.46!
This video will not age well.
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome
as a michigan fan i can admit jj mccarthy should definitely not be a top-5 pick and sadly will probably be a bust
As a Patriots fan, I was stoked when they picked Baker.
the latu take might be the worst draft take ive ever heard. The big selling point of his game is that he's the most nfl ready he just might not have that high of a ceiling compared to the other two
I truly think Bo Nix is a steal very careful and tacticful. With a good coach and he can be a big time threat. And 100 percent on Brendan rice being a steal
I think Nix winds up in Denver his play style is very similar to a QB Payton had a small amount of success with lol he’s being comped to Drew Brees and yes I’m a bears fan and I’m hoping we double dip on USC guys and take Brenden with Caleb this draft
@davemeers37 as a Denver fan i hope we trade down and snag him and then end up with Luke McCaffery I think he has potential to be great
@@AthleticCripple Luke isn’t his brother but he’s definitely a quality WR and should be there in the later rounds
Penix wayy better
@kidtrax6597 too many injuries and to risky with deep shot balls. He's like Jameis Winston
They show one clip of Latu against Taleise Fuaga, a top 15 prospect and the best run blocking lineman in the draft and say he's a bad run defender
Latu is the best technical pass rusher in this draft off skill set, the fact that you guys are saying he isn’t as polished as Verse or Turner, calls into question if you guys actually watch film.
Rattler was in a good translatable offense, I really believe in him. His receiver Xavier Legette is also ELITE. I think he'll be as good as any
Don’t sleep on T.J. Tampa. I said this about Brian Thomas before the combine. Nobody really wanted him until after the combine. As a Bills fan, I want them to steal both players.
Do rating every team's new uniforms please
This dude really said Latu isn’t polished lmao this dude hasn’t watched a snap of Latu 🤣🤣🤣
Penix can definitely extend plays if he wants to..
Let’s go Pack
What I hope to see is the top 6 QBs get drafted in the 1st round as I can realistically see teams reach on that many, but I can also see them not. I see the QBs going to:
Caleb Williams- Chicago Bears
Jayden Daniels- Washington Commanders
Drake Maye- New England Patriots
JJ McCarthy- Minnesota Vikings
Bo Nix- Denver Broncos
Michael Penix Jr- Las Vegas Raiders
With Spencer Rattler going to New York or Dallas in the later rounds
Dallas has a former 3rd overall pick that hasn’t seen the field very much in his career
@@EthanDephouse bruh
My biggest concern with J.J. McCarthy is his progression & reading the defense.
Hes unbelievably raw. Think Malik Willis. A massive project.
@@thequixoticangler3364hes not a massive project at all. Should he sit a yr? Yes.
He goes thru progressions better than any qb in this draft
I’m so proud of Rattler, he has never had the “right” coaches that knew how to use him, hopefully he will get the chance to express his potential skills & determination in the NFL. He’s a NFL Star in the making, watch him grow! 🔥🏈🔥🏈🔥🏈🔥
Max melton one of the biggest steals
caleb is the bust of the draft and kool aid is the steal
Javon Baker was very fun to watch at UCF as a Knights fan. He's going to be a great player in the league.
Rattler look like mahomes and Blake Griffen fused 😂
Fr😂
This video makes no sense!!😂😂😂
For me, the steals could be Braelon Allen and AD Mitchell. Allen had a Derrick Henry-like physique and could be a steal on day 3. Mitchell could be a steal on day 2 because I think he's better overall than Worthy. As TPS pointed out with John Ross, speed isn't everything
I would take a chance on Rattler in rounds 3-4. Possibly a good backup for a team that has talent. If goes to a bad team , he will be pummeled out of the league in 2 years. I'm honestly losing interest in the NFL.
Adonai Mitchell is the biggest steal of the draft
I love the idea of the spencer rattler redemption arc
Imagine he goes to Chicago in like round 5 or 6 and Williams struggles or gets injured, so he comes in and wins OROTY.LOL
8:38 worthy is actually a quick guy and a lot more polished at route running than you’re giving him credit for
U know penix runs a 4.4
Exactly
Go watch Bengal ( he’s another RUclipsr) he knows what he’s talking about
And? He had 35 rushing attempts in each of the last two seasons. In 2022 he had 95 yards and 2023 he had 8 yards. His speed means nothing if he never runs.
@@winstonsyme5899 considering he has had two ACL tears, I dont blame him for blindly running. He focuses using his legs to extend plays instead however when he needs too (in big games) he'll take that risk more often. We all seen that he can run in the playoffs and conference championship he just avoids it most of the time.
He's a qb don't care if he ran 8.4 40
This is why it bothers me when these "draft experts" on ESPN talk about Dallas drafting Penix if he's available at 24. No. We already technically have a 1st round QB who we only had to give up a 4th rounder for this year. Also whom, is only a year older than Penix and already has some NFL tenure and could be ready to lead Dallas, if Dak decides to walk
I'm hoping that if the Steelers drafts him we should be in line for a trip to the Super Bowl but not now let's wait until draft day comes and goes 11:25
Latu is the most polished edge in years in terms of pass rush nuance and has super quality size and effort. Idk how that could possibly bust
Penix is too injured and a very old rookie. System QB.
TPS all of your videos are perfect!
What about Joe Milton QB Tennessee
is an athletic freak
Hail Mary specialist
I’ll be there in Detroit as a packers fan GOPACKGO
NOPACKNO! You need some Lions gear while you're here
@@brokentubing lmfaooo I’ll be in packers gear for sure
By the way, Brandon Rice is huge in China. They love it .They really love rice over there.
Rattler, Williams, Hurts, Murray and Mayfield all played at Oklahoma
I think Roman Wilson and Jordan Morgan might be steals
I'm not going to say JJ is going to be the next great one but when he was asked to get first downs on 3rd and long, there was no one better in the country. In the Rose Bowl game you saw that when the stakes were on the line pressure in his face against 5 star talent he dropped dimes to lead his team down the field to tie the game. Winners win at all costs and that is what JJ is a winner so he won't be a bust when you win games and he has the talent and intangibles. You won't have to fight with JJ like other QBs when you want to install your offence. That is big when it comes to team building down the road. Also not even Caleb can throw the intermediate ball on the run across his body like JJ can.
Latu has a "limited skillset"??? Brah that's factually wrong he's the most technically proficient pass rusher in years come on🤦🏾♂️.
His average athleticism is the only thing holding him back
As a Tar-Heels fan I'm hoping Drake Maye is not a BUST because I believe he will prove them wrong and show them what he's all about 11:44
I can't wait if Brendan Rice to be drafted by 49ers like his dad, Jerry Rice. Maybe to the Buffalo Bills or LA Chargers.
Rams gotta pick up rattler, would be the perfect situation for him imo
Christian Haynes could be a huge steal
I thinks this is e the most accurate video of the drafts that I’ve seen so far . Excelent breaks disown
Most QB draft is a gamble same go for offense player defense player are more reliable pick.
I don't know whose being more disrespectful this week Tps or Drake.
Crazy they used the chiefs as the madden example for worthy and they picked him
Kendall Milton will be a great pickup to a team like Tennessee or even the Giants.
Caleb Williams will have 2 seasons where he shows promise but is average and then he will be slightly below average the rest of his career. Jayden Daniels will be a bust after 1 season. Drake Maye will go to the playoffs a couple of times and overall be a decent qb. Micheal Penix will be a backup his entire career. J.J McCarthy will win 2-3 super bowls and be the only hall of fame qb in this class. Don't believe me? Think I'm crazy? Come back to this in 10-15 years. I promise you I'll be correct.
Caleb Williams. The top bust in the 2024 draft. JaMarcus Russell, give it a few years and you may not be considered the worst draft of all time 😂
If JJ McCarthy can and will prove to the entire NFL World that he is not a BUST then will see what happens I'll give him the absolute benefit of the doubt to see if he's worthy of a top 5 or 10 pick come draft day otherwise he will be one of the most if not the biggest BUST ever 0:48
That belongs to Ryan leaf.
I think shipley could be a steal
Troy Franklin is gonna be the steal at WR.
Drake Maye could be a bust as well as Jayden Daniels
Anyone who says JJ is gonna be a bust only watched the National Title game. Dude can make all the throws, Michigan was about winning games, not making JJ the #1 pick
As a falcons fan I hope we past on latu
Bruh don’t take his word for it TPS don’t know ball
Give Xavier Worthy a good QB and a good coach then he’ll be fine
I hope that the Chiefs don’t get a steal in terms of WRs.
“Penix doesn’t have the mobility or speed” is clown $hit 🤡🙄. Only college player in the history of college players to run a ≈4.4 n implied to be immobile. To be straight up objective (n sucks at the same time) is that the Cotton Bowl win showed his outstanding ceiling n the natty loss showed his floor (so to speak) 😐.
TPS, this video is perfect!
This guy has the worst nfl takes on RUclips
they compare late to tj watt so you're crazy
WHOOOAAAAAA
Rattler would NEVER get 7 in Denver. That's blasphemy
Blake Corum will be a Steal with whatever he goes to in the draft he is very special 4:40
Lost my subscription. Latu is the MOST REFINED edge according to almost every Actual evaluator. This was just the last piece of evidence that TPS is just shit-posting for views.
Really my honest truth is this Bo Nix would be a excellent STEAL he's incredibly accurate he has nice mobility and such a cannon of his arm but I believe he's a worthy 1st Round pick with the Denver cause Sean Payton would be the perfect coach who turned Drew Brees into the quarterback that he was in New Orleans from 2006 to 2020 so let's hope that Payton will do all he can to do the same for Bo Nix as well 11:42
Penix strengths are deep ball
Like curry with 3.
Teams have to adjust
Latu is the most polished edge lol what u on about
I can’t wait for JJ to prove everyone wrong
he has a high upside but it takes a while to unlock it
Daniel jones 2.0
So my boy slick Rick from Florida doesn’t exist huh???
Potential busts are Caleb Williams and Drake Maye.
I believe those two are the only ones with a legitimate shot.
Caleb Williams will be the biggest draft bust since Jamarcus Russell. He doesn't have the mental game to adapt to the NFL game. And his entitlement attitude is going to prove costly. No way would I draft this guy.
That’s lowkey hating
Safest pick big Brock Bowers a younger Kelce.
Brenden Rice is who I’m hoping the bears draft for all the reasons you mentioned plus he and Caleb are close friends so it would make the transition to the NFL easier for both of them
In all honesty who the so so called analyst pick be wrong or just good 2 yrs
Feels like Olu is set up to be a Beast for 15 years
I truly believe Spencer Rattler will be that dude from this draft class!!!
Time will tell. I'm a gamecock fan. He does some things well but he is undersized at 6' 1" and a bulked up 215. He is loose and sloppy with the ball at times. If he goes to a good team he may have a chance.
I will be so mad if my Pats take JJ McCarthy. They either need to take Maye or Daniels or trade down. Or take MJH and take Penix.
Yeah I see you’ve learned nothing as a pats fan.
FYI you saw what happened to Penix when he faced and NfL style defense and those cupcake pac 12 teams don’t play defense.
And let’s look at those ACC teams.
Daniel’s you might be right on, he outplayed Bama. His defense was awful but he did a number on Bama.
If anybody takes the michigan QB in 1st round they be getting a bust he will need years to become a back up , he doesnt have the arm strength when throw certain passes that should be on a rope , his isnt his will be a pick 7 the other way i think USC QB will be a bust he is more of a character then a superstar player he used make up nail polish a little Denisr Rodman to stand out
