Good morning sir! Oir usual load is 185gr heads at 178 power factor. My dad is used to it and we think that the recoil is just right. his Metrillo shoots that load flatter than our other 2011.
We used to shoot close to minor loads during practice years ago. Yes the recoi was noticeably softer and more pleasant butt we noticed that the gun felt slower shooting. It seems easier for us to engage swinger boards and steel targets faster with a higher pf. Slightly higer recoil but the advantage is we get back on target faster. Hope that helps sir!

If cost is not a problem, Metrillo is top-notch because it really is a superior gun. However, Khalil Viray has proven the viability of the non-2011 platform.
