TEXAS Fall Colors | Backpacking Lost Maples State Natural Area

This was my first ever trip to Lost Maples. The park is famous for its fall colors. I hit the park just prior to peak but was still able to see some great color around the park. Watch out - this park is popular. But once you get a little further back on the trails, the crowds fade away. I ended up having a camping area and pretty much a whole corner of the park to myself.
I enjoyed the views around the park and can't wait to take the rest of the family down next November.
