  • Tracey Russell was in for the shock of her life. She had just married Mark and climbed into the car to go on their honeymoon. She explained, “I'm shaking the rice out of my veil and looking over at Mark, and suddenly I saw a look on his face I had never seen before.” He later confessed, "I don't think we should have married.” Thankfully, a friend urged Tracey to get Dr. Dobson’s book, “Love Must Be Tough.” Listen to this testimony of a marriage that endured extreme adversity.

I was the wife in a marriage like that. Told by my parents and the church that I should go to counseling and just love him more. It did not work. After 23 years of that crap, I am destroyed by the abuse.

Husband is gay. Somehow someway people back then didn’t think of that. Lol Also, I’m sure there were a million different red flags before the marriage took place but she ignored them.

There is a middle ground in dealing with the unfulfilled spouse who wants out. You can love and serve them daily and still hold the line where it comes to the promises made and the character issues that need to be addressed. If the other person leaves the marriage, the one left behind can still look back and see that they acted with integrity, without grovelling and begging.

There is no middle ground. If the unfulfilled spouse wants out, holding them hostage will not change anything. It will only make it worse.

The hardest part of ending a marriage. It was not your choice but you realize they are battling addictions lust and alcohol. You have to let them go and let God heal you. You can not dwell in bitterness or anger. Pray God will provide profound compassion!❤🙏🏻

To Jessica Lucas: Spells will not last and they come at great cost. Such means to and end will only destroy you. Only Christ has the ultimate victory. May God give grace to you and rescue your marriage and family through the power of the Gospel and what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He is the only true Savior and I pray you find that out for yourself before the fruit of your false hope in witchcraft comes with destruction to all you love. I’m begging you to grab hold of the goodness of God, the one who made you and loves you and is calling you to Himself. He is the Rock on which you can build your life. He will not fail you. In Jesus’s mighty name I rebuke the witchcraft in your family and tell you to come out of bondage and repent of the idolatry of a man and powers of darkness. Come into the light of Jesus Christ and experience true joy, life, freedom, and healing love.

I love this Book. It helped me thru the early years of my marriage. When we had 6 young children. My husband would insult, disrespect run around on me was never home. And slept on the couch.
I would be embarrassed to say I was
married. He wasn't there to help discipline the kids or help take care of them. I had no money or job. And depended on him for every dime. But after I read this book.
LOVE MUST BE TOUGH. I had to get my self respect and dignity back.
