Hello community I’m am 3 years married and to a spouse who struggles with addiction . I had listened to the series pulled over the side of the road weeping with a broken heart. I have been thru a lot of emotional and mental abuse and physically seperated for Saftey and my sanity . Been 4 -5 months hoping to get strong and have boundaries to respect myself .
I am devestated with a recent fight on a family
Trip and my spouse wants out of this marriage and to be a free man and hates me. I am broken and writing the hardest letter of my life to let him go . I feel like my marriage has zero hope we had our child out of wedlock and I know that is the only reason why he asked to marry me to make things right in God eyes. Truth is he is my first real love and I am disrespected so much and my self esteem is so low .. please pray for me and my 10 year old daughter thanks
God is our strength .

Amazing testimony. It just sounds like God decided to save the marriage in spite of Dobson's book and Tracey's actions, not because of them. Some of her actions were correct and Biblical, but so many were not. I'm really sad to hear so much of this story, and to hear Dobson championing this book as though the entire things Biblical, when so far by the sounds of it we're looking at half or less.
