Others were just taking advantage of the show to social engineer their philosophy of liberalism and feminism into the audience. It is quite annoying to see that for a country with varied cultures, traditions and many other unknown facts about it, some speakers had nothing more interesting to say than rehashed and boring talks. TED is a liberal-leaning organisation, I know. But, show organisers should have vetted the speakers more stringently and inspected the quality of speech. May Sabe Phyu and Htar Htar talks were so boring that I lost interest in their talks merely an minute after.
