Just a quick note: after drying the thermos (for the nuggets), add in a paper towel/napkin before putting in the nuggets to keep them crispier/from getting soggy longer
I don’t have kids but I enjoy these videos! I’m sure finding food for children can be difficult but I appreciate the efforts you make. I love how you let them try foods and it doesn’t seem like you pressure them with food. You are such a good mama! You pack what that like and it always looks so good!

That snack box is so sweet! And as a first grade teacher, thanks for being mindful of all the candy already around on Valentine’s Day. And guess what, the kids who get notes every single day end up not even looking at them but the kids who get them now and then really get excited to see them!

When I was younger, i’d make my own lunch and I’d freeze my thermos overnight and put ice cream in it in the morning and it would still be perfect for lunchtime!!

I got a thermos last year for my son (he was in 3rd grade then), and it was a game changer!
He gets free school lunch, but doesn’t always like it so the thermos gives use some great variety for a packed lunch.
I never thought to use a thermos to keep hot food fresh in!! I have 5 boys and they get pbnj half of the time if not cold cuts because idk what else to pack, this is mind-blowing to me, thank you!

Ok, so I never knew that you had to prime a thermos before I watched your videos! So THANK YOU for sharing! I always hated when my mom would pack soup or hot things in a thermos when I was a kid because by the time it was lunch, it was lukewarm at best. So, I never packed hot soups or foods for my kids' lunches...until now. They absolutely love being able to have soups, mac 'n cheese, leftovers, etc. for lunches. When I saw your first lunch video way back when where you mentioned priming the thermos, I automatically went online and ordered thermoses for my family. They were soooo happy to have hot foods for lunch when I first packed them a thermos. Priming makes all the difference! When my husband saw me priming the kids' thermoses in the morning before school, it blew his mind when I explained what I was doing. Apparently he also grew up having lukewarm soup in thermoses for lunch. Haha. Thank you again for sharing.😊

Damn man, when I was little, my mum would throw some lunch meat between some bread and throw it in a bag but usually with an apple, sometimes I get really lucky, and she'd throw in a juice box. And this mum is packing a three-course meal for her kids. Lord knows how BIG their bedrooms are.

We make the banana/tortilla snack; but call if banana sushi! We also add a little sprinkle of cinnamon on top of the peanut butter. And when I have it, a bit of honey, before placing the banana down. It’s a big hit for my school aged girl, too!

Hi there! I’ve really been enjoying your kids’ lunch box videos! We don’t get free meals at our school so it’s either I pack them or they eat the hot lunches, which aren’t always the best. I have gotten quite a few ideas from you, thank you!
I don't have kids but I have a medical condition that makes it so that I can only eat a little bit at a time and always have a hard time coming up with ideas plus I have to take a lunch everyday that can't be heated up these videos really help me since I use the same bento boxes and eat about the same amount of your kids these are really great ideas thanks

OMG!!! that thermos is a game-changer for me as my son's school does not heat up lunches and I've been dropping off lunches midday Monday through Friday so I didn't have to send him with a sandwich or something cold every day.

I tried packing chicken poppers in my daughter's primed thermos, but she complained that it was chewy like gum.... Now, I only use her thermos for mac n cheese or rice and beans. I love your lunch ideas, but my 7 year old is quite picky 😮💨

Love your content, this video especially because I too struggle with a picky kid who wants to take his lunch but only likes 2-3 things lol. I’ve never had any luck with thermos’ tho. First time I tried to do the hot water trick , I couldn’t get it open again 😆

I would get the breakfast kit from Blackstone. It has a pancake batter dispenser in it and it might make things like that (pancakes or otherwise) easier to pour.

I love these ideas 😊.I also am a young mom and my daughter is picky but these are very easy ideas
A quick dunk in a small bit of citrus juice will keep apples and bananas from turning brown when exposed to air.
Give it a few days to a week and check the lost and found at the school and you may find the missing drink bottle. And always check at the end of the quarter/semester/school year. You may be surprised at that you find that you didn't realize was missing.
I used to always put a Hershey's kiss and a Hershey's hug in my kids lunch so at lunch, they were getting a hug and kiss from Mom (especially if they were having a rough day).

Tip for apples and bananas - citric acid powder. It’s cheap to get a jar of it. Put a bit maybe a teaspoon in some water and let the fruit sit for a bit doesn’t have to be long. Dry it off and they won’t get brown. I like this better than lemon as it’s just easier than cutting and squeezing.
I do “Reese Sandwich” or “Reese Rollup” where I use peanut butter and Nutella on either bread or a tortilla and my daughter LOVES it
My 4 year old starts school in about 3 weeks and so do my other 4 children. My youngest is such a picky eater, thank you for all these great ideas😊

I get water bottles at Dollar Tree. When they inevitability disappear, I'm not out much. Also, for a cheap pancake batter dispenser, wash a large ketchup bottle and use it. Makes it fast and you can make it the night before, just shake & go.

My cousin buys a big case of the small water bottles and just puts the falvor in it that way no reusble bottles get lost 😊
I was thinking, would it better to give them regular water bottles since they lose the reusable ones? Oh lol I just got to the part where you did pack the mini ones. I think that is perfect! My boyfriend has a son a and I love watching these videos to give him ideas when he’s packing lunch 😊

Gatorade wile tasty has lots of salt in it. Unless they are very sweaty it isn't good for anyone.
I love Banana and PB on a Bagel or an English Muffin so I know I would like it in a Chocolate Wrap. I too do not have children but these types of videos give me meal ideas
