It also won the 1st RUclips Music Award beating popular western artists to get the Video Of The Year. This happened mostly because of SNSD's fans and also due to Kpop fandoms uniting to watch, share and vote for it online. MR MR - SNSD's last mv as an OT9. Some footage was also lost and it was replaced with a parking dance footage. There's also a controversy of "nurse outfit." CATCH ME IF YOU CAN - SNSD's first official mv as an OT8, but there's a leakage OT9 Japanese ver. that was recorded before former member Jessica left/kick out.

However, Tiffany is often considered the secondary Main Rapper, due to her being especially good at rapping in English.
I think it was Sunny who said that "Catch Me If You Can" was by far their most difficult choreo. Sunny is the one with really short blonde hair in "I Got A Boy". She's also the niece of Lee Soo-Man, the founder of SM Entertainment.

You will definitely be in for a ride, back then we called it the "Soshi Express" their Korean discography is pure gold and don't even get me started on their Japanese doscography. They were one of the few groups who tore throught the difficult Japanese music industry and they also got in the top of Oricon charts. They're also one of the first girl groups to perform at the Tokyo Dome.
fun fact: one of these girls (yoona) is the FL of the drama King the Land which is #1 on Netflix non-english category. If you get into SNSD, you can't avoid them because they are everywhere. Sooyoung is the MC of R U Next, Taeyeon in Queendom Puzzle, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon was mentors in Girls Planet 999, My Teenage Girl (?) and Wild Idol respectively and many more

Thank you! My favorite girl group here in Korea is Girls Generation. I have loved them for 15 years . Yoon-A of Girls Generation was the most beautiful woman I 've ever seen in Korea.
If any girl group is a template for every one after it, till today, it's GG. They were the first group to be known as "The Nations Girl Group", which the title has since been passed around, but many still consider this title to belong to them forever. When you get the chance, Taeyeon, one of the main vocalists (Jessica being the other one) did a hard rock almost metal intro to Run Devil Run, called Devil's Cry during one of their concert tours. A must watch, it's incredible, and shows just how versatile and incredible King Taeyeon, and of course GG is. IGAB is very famous in starting the SM "multi songs in one" trend, that continues to this day. It was very polarizing when it came out, but now it is an absolute classic, many people who hated the song at first, now love it. It's very entertaining to watch people react to this song for the first time. Dreamcatcher has definitely done a number of covers of SNSD, and Dami when asked who her favorite girl group was, when all the other DC members said "Dreamcatcher", she said without a moments hesitation "Girls Generation", which tells you how much she stans GG. You've started down the SNSD rabbit hole, and it goes DEEP, with just the music, with the group, subunits, and solos, nevermind all the variety shows. I look forward to your journey.

If you reacted to 'LION HEART' (puns for Lying Heart) it also not a 'first' original concept as we saw today. It was a 're-shoot' concept cuz the original mv was 'deleted' and they replaced it with the new we saw today...and when it first came out,the editting team mispelled GIRLS' GENERATION as GILRS' GENERATION and corrected short after... and on 2022,they comeback with 'FOREVER 1' which it made a huge constroversy with their 15th Anniversary logo (same design with 15th Anniversary of Disney theme park logo) then a few days later,the logo was replaced with a new design.

A Girls' Generation Deep Dive would be so good! You will definitely be in for a ride, back then we called it the "Soshi Express" their Korean discography is pure gold and don't even get me started on their Japanese doscography.
They were one of the few groups who tore throught the difficult Japanese music industry and they also got in the top of Oricon charts. They're also one of the first girl groups to perform at the Tokyo Dome.

fun fact: one of these girls (yoona) is the FL of the drama King the Land which is #1 on Netflix non-english category. If you get into SNSD, you can't avoid them because they are everywhere. Sooyoung is the MC of R U Next, Taeyeon in Queendom Puzzle, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon was mentors in Girls Planet 999, My Teenage Girl (?) and Wild Idol respectively and many more

wow idk why but i cried watching this lol i grew up with snsd and throwing it back made me feel so nostalgic hahaha they truly were the queens of 2nd gen! taeyeon, tiffany and sooyoung are my biases 😂 they are all sooooo full of personality and their variety shows back in the day always made me laugh so hard! i miss this era of kpop man

If any girl group is a template for every one after it, till today, it's GG. They were the first group to be known as "The Nations Girl Group", which the title has since been passed around, but many still consider this title to belong to them forever. When you get the chance, Taeyeon, one of the main vocalists (Jessica being the other one) did a hard rock almost metal intro to Run Devil Run, called Devil's Cry during one of their concert tours. A must watch, it's incredible, and shows just how versatile and incredible King Taeyeon, and of course GG is. IGAB is very famous in starting the SM "multi songs in one" trend, that continues to this day. It was very polarizing when it came out, but now it is an absolute classic, many people who hated the song at first, now love it. It's very entertaining to watch people react to this song for the first time. Dreamcatcher has definitely done a number of covers of SNSD, and Dami when asked who her favorite girl group was, when all the other DC members said "Dreamcatcher", she said without a moments hesitation "Girls Generation", which tells you how much she stans GG. You've started down the SNSD rabbit hole, and it goes DEEP, with just the music, with the group, subunits, and solos, nevermind all the variety shows. I look forward to your journey.

If you reacted to 'LION HEART' (puns for Lying Heart) it also not a 'first' original concept as we saw today. It was a 're-shoot' concept cuz the original mv was 'deleted' and they replaced it with the new we saw today...and when it first came out,the editting team mispelled GIRLS' GENERATION as GILRS' GENERATION and corrected short after...
and on 2022,they comeback with 'FOREVER 1' which it made a huge constroversy with their 15th Anniversary logo (same design with 15th Anniversary of Disney theme park logo) then a few days later,the logo was replaced with a new design.

I don't know what the producers of "I Got a Boy" were on but it must've been good because my God, it's literally three songs. People say that about songs a lot but I genuinely feel like these were three separate incomplete songs that were just put together 😂
