Ah, now you've reached true LEGENDS. These ladies are the ones that got me into the world of Kpop and just like their younger sisters Red Velvet, there isn't anything they can't do. They also have 1 of my 2 ult biases, King Taeyeon.
into the new world was practiced by every 3rd gen female group and even 4th gen.
Gee won 9 straight weeks on music shows. It also started a skinny jeans craze in South Korea. It's also a song that Taeyeon hates but she still sings it because the fans love it.
The leg dance in Genie is an iconic dance move. I also love the way Taeyeon pops off after Tiffany says "DJ, put it back on"
Others you should check out are Mr Mr, You think (I know you'll love), Catch me if you can, and I Got a Boy (it will throw you for a loop). B tracks like I said before which are 2 of my top songs are Trick and Soul (which is my favorite song from them)

After that not only did I continue to listen to music outside of America; I actively started searching for music across the globe.

Into the New World is one of the most regularly covered songs by Kpop girl groups (not just Dreamcatcher, although theirs is probably the best). Also, song shows up in South Korean public protests, especially around the time of impeaching President Park Geun-Hye. The beginning of the song is featured in a karaoke scene in Business Proposal. Also, while SNSD has raps, they don't have dedicated rappers like Dahyun and Chaeyoung of Twice - it is one of their weak points. Hyoyeon - who you noticed in Into the New World, does some more rapping in her solo songs, but for her song Dessert (that Dami covered) she brought in other rappers, including Soyeon. The way I learned the members of Girls Generation: The Leader: Taeyeon, The Americans: Tiffany and Jessica, The Triplets (but not really): Seohyun, Yoona, Yuri. The Tall One: Sooyoung, The Main Dancer: Hyoyeon, and Sunny. Sunny had a variety show that once featured Dreamcatcher and Dami reveals her SNSD fan kit.

there used to be a tradition where girl groups that just debuted cover Into The New World signalling their new start as idols, it was almost a must 😊 the tradition died down a bit recently tho sadly

From the moment Taeyeon steps forward and says the opening words of Genie, that was the moment I not only knew I was into K-Pop (this was only the 2nd song I had heard) but I knew I found my favorite singer in all of K-Pop. Girls' Generation is my favorite Kpop group of all time. I'm loving the RWBY rep too. If you didn't know.back in the Dead Fantasy days Monty did an animated cover of Gee with Dead or Alive and Final Fantasy ladies. Also, Blake's outfit when she was spying with Sun on the White Fang in Vale was inspired by Yuri's outfit in The Boys MV. As a sone and RWBY fan, I lost my mind and fangirled hard lol.

Believe it or not, according to what I read years ago, Hyoyeon wasn't given many close ups or much camera time because she wasn't considered to be up to the Kpop beauty standard of the time. Then they went to France..... after that Hyo got a lot more camera time. She's always been my bias.

Sunny is my bias. It's all about personality with them. Taeyeon and Tiffany are my wreckers. Jessica had left by 2015 when I discovered them. I think she's great, but I never got to see her in real time within the group, so that's a bit sad. I did get to see her reality show with her sister (from my og favorite group before DC, f(x)), and it really endeared her to me.

Genie is one of my favorite songs of theirs! Paparazzi (a Japanese track) is my ultimate favorite track of theirs, though.
Some of the Girls Generation songs inspired Red Velvet's sound, so I'm pleased to see that you enjoy the GG stuff, that's a pretty good indicator that you'll enjoy RV as well.

As for "Run Devil Run", including it in this selection isn't the best idea. There is a story version of the video and it is linked, albeit loosely, to "Oh!". These two MVs are also very important as they practically document THE concept change of SNSD.

I liked it so much i wanted to know who the Band (Group) behind this song was and i found the MV to Naruto Shippuden Ending - 15 Domino U can do it ruclips.net/video/IBdHRKYBUTk/видео.html ( it is not that video that i found but the MV is the same ). I found another Song that i like from them KIRA KIRA ruclips.net/video/G3Jx-FA8U5E/видео.html, after listening to those songs i asked myself who is the best in Asia. I searched on youtube for who is the best Girl Group in Asia and i found 2 Groups, SNSD with Gee and Girls Generation with Run Devil Run. As you know both are one and the same, but i didn't know that at the time i just read the title of the video and didn't looked at the comments. I loved both songs and i watched each MV at least 15 times. After some time i recognised one of the members, Sooyoung the one with the Yellow Jeans in Gee was also in Run Devil Run. From that point i knew they were the same Group. I was really bad with faces at the time, but i recognised one Member so i wanted to do the same with the other members and i found this kind of video guess snsd's eyes ruclips.net/video/-xu8uJ90TWA/видео.html. After that i recognised all of them and watched so many variety shows with them. I have no bias in the Group, i love them all equally for different reasons but they are the best together in a variety show.
