SNSD is a second generation group that debuted in 2007. The lyrics "girls generation make you feel the heat" and "B-bring the boys out" were very popular in that era. Fun fact, when The Boys released their MV teaser, at that time all the idols were anticipating and pulling up their comeback schedule so that it didn't coincide with SNSD. After that, SNSD made a historic achievement which allowed them to stand on equal footing with boy groups, they were even called the leaders of the second generation. They are the wall to the girl group's success.
SNSD also has one of the strongest vocal lines of Kpop. Brave claim right but it's true. Having two main vocalist to start with is rare (Taeyeon + Jessica) and even their subs aren't bad either.
Not too mention that they didn't stick to one concept. They jump from cute to girl crush to sexy. They done so many concept you could almost say any concept and they already done it.

Girls' Gen ruled the 2nd Gen. Their main competition wasn't even 2ne1, but Big Bang, so AOA's Come See Me barely has a chance. Btw, SNSD debuted in 2007, so they're Shinee's seniors. But, you'll find Shinee's Minho in GG's Gee MV. Btw, it would be incredible to see an NMIXX song against Girls' Generation's I Got A Boy, which is known as the song that started the experimental cross-genre mixing trend in K-pop. It's known as the Bohemian Rhapsody of Kpop.
To even compare SNSD to another girl group is a no brainer. THEY'RE NOT THERE FOR 16 YEARS FOR NOTHING

AOA have some amazing songs but GG are just the one! They are know as the girl group BLUEPRINT. Nations girl group ❤ KPop would not be what it is today without girls generation.. simple as that ❤
SNSD is 2nd Gen! AOA could be assigned to the 3rd generation with a lot of goodwill. 2012, their debut year, is the period of transition. However, AOA's style is much closer to the 2nd Gen, see also SECRET, SISTAR, 9Muses, Stellar etc.

I actually think aoa gives more 3rd gen vibes. Songs like good luck, bingle bangle, heart attack and like a cat are very 3rd generation vibes. Mamamoo is a 3rd gen group but they’re songs actually resemble 2nd gen more than aoa. Piano man, um ah oh yeh, mr ambiguous, They’re in the same boat as exid as they debuted in 2012 but most accept exid as 3rd gen. Also bts and exo debuted in 2012 and everyone calls them 3rd gen.

Girl's Generation was definitely my favorite! SNSD is my favorite 2nd Gen group and they're the ones that got me into KPOP.
Now you're going to put my favorite 4th gen GG against my favorite 2nd gen GG. My vote will really come down to which song is picked. But i don't really see NMIXX beating SNSD.

They invent the Bermuda triangle... they're the OG Visuals (Yuri, Yoona, & Maknae Seohyun) the triplets, also the Actress line with Sooyoung. They have the powerful sub unit TaeTiSeo/TTS (Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun), their songs is a must...
Fun fact: in The Boys... Seohyun supports the high notes of Taeyeon... They slayyy it also with Jessica's runs🥰💖❤️✨ that's why they're the Queens ... We SONE are always & 4eva proud💗😊🤩

this is my first time hearing Come See Me its very catchy i like it on my first listen. but im sorry GG The Boys is just too legendary. CSM is very typical/generic kpop song which i like but yeah GG easily wins this.
