The song is a metaphor for the cancel culture that was so rampant in 2020 that swept him up. But there weren't any actual accusations against him, thus the infertile soil for daisies. He's also said he found out his dog was terminally ill the day this was filmed. No acting required.
Translation, I have lost so much and so many since 2020, not much of me left. I can't sit down I can't take a moment I can't breathe without imagining the next hit i.e. the fear of, "little did he know...". This one is personal to me, the hollow anxiety of what next is a plague. Family trauma, certified. Listening to Flower Boy made me cry for my children. Different deets, same hurts. This song though touched my soul. Damn, this explains why I had that old old script for xanex refilled. Thanks Prof for explaing what I could not. Vv
My initial thought was the beef between him and Rhymesayers. But I do know of his childhood traumas and tumultuous relationship with his father. Reading those comments and hearing y’all TA thieves thoughts I think its a combo of all those incidents leading to this point in his life. As in walked past all these tombstones; dead ends, dead friends.
From Prof himself: For me, Heaven, Tombstones, and Creek Boy share a similar theme and tell a story of personal healing, being at peace with yourself, letting go and death..
Great reaction vid my dudes. Prof is one of the most creative hiphop artists to hit the scene. Hes paying homage to so many great genres, refining all those established sounds, but making them his own.
I saw Prof in an interview say that as he was filming this video specifically the last scene he got a phone call saying that his dog just died. So he is authentically sad in this video. Two more rather serious songs is "Louisiana" (about the summer of love 2020) and "Devil's Gate" featuring Kevin Gates is 🔥 but the video is dark/macabre I highly recommend both
No problem. I've been a fan since his Motel song. That's a sassy song, but it has had me hooked and fan ever since! Can't wait until 4/20 @ The Rave. Found your reaction to Squad Goals this morning and went to show my moms, that how I stumble on this. I love how you guys break it down. Keep on Reacting.
More Prof, please! For more serious songs, Spellbound or Louisiana (which has actual film footage him and a buddy shot during George Floyd riots a few blocks from his house).

He's mentioned it in live streaming sessions & I think also in the Prof Snitches video about the song.
Father passed guys.
Hes the coolest person. Best live show I’ve ever seen.

I believe his dog pilot passed away around the time of this so the emotions were all totally 100%
Yup. He confirmed this a couple months back on his YT page. RIP Pilot
He got shot in the back by his old lable... That's why he's independent!! He doesn't let anyone tell him anything feed the dogs!!

He was able to get in touch with that vibe harder due to him having to put his dog to sleep during filming

My favorite prof song ❤
As much as I love his goofy side, his serious side is just as dope!
Fellas, check out his track Heaven. Amazing performance. Digging your work too fellas ✊
Flower boy (powderhorn suites) hits so hard and the emotion is crazy.
This one is hella sad, but primo Prof still
Prof doesn't ever explain what the song is about specifically, but that his emotions were completely real because he'd just had his dog pass away.
He did an interview with no jumper, it's about his father passing. He had a shit relationship with his pops.
@@laurenleigh9458damn. Yeah you can tell by some of his lyrics, so that checks out. Thanks for the info fam.

This song is about the loss of his father guys. He and his father had a tuff relationship.
