Absolutely. I don't see a lot of hiphop shows as mostly a metalhead, but I saw him open for Atmosphere and he absolutely killed it. Such a great live performance.
Yeah I would have to agree. The Prof show that my fiancé and I went to see was the most energetic, crazy and unreal performance that I've ever seen in my life. Everybody in the crowd knew every word to every song. It was unreal

@ShuckyDucky09 Last year, I mentioned Prof to a girl halfway across the world, and she knew exactly who he was. That's not how things go for nobodies. They don't tend to have hundreds of thousands of listeners on every platform or get followed by celebrities or have songs with them either.
@@marklar51423they have just a dude on stage with a microphone? Or do they have full bands, light/laser shows, pyro, etc? As my comment said, take all of that away and I’d bet on prof being better than anybody. But me personally I’d pay to go see prof before I would go to a free phish concert.

Any new comers/first timers watching this!!!!!! This guy is hands down the best performer in hip hop. First time I saw him he out performed the headliner by ten fold.
Classic story - Soundset festival he was at the show as he was with Rhymesayers Entertainment. Performer couldn’t make it 10 minutes before they were to go on. They turn to Prof and ask him to go on stage to fill time. He agrees and goes out there and shuts the show down for 30 minutes. You would have thought he was the headliner and the 40k people there were for him. Many left knowing who he was. One of the best moments in my many years going to soundset.
Not a first timer, but I'm fairly new to Prof, and while no doubt he's a great performer, "hands down the best in hip-hop"?? That's a bit of an overreach, don't ya think? Or either your experience with hip-hop artists is very limited, please don't tell me Prof fans are heading down the path Tom McDonald's fans went down....lol. For real though, not tryin' to throw shade, if that's your opinion I respect it, but if you've ever seen Tobe Nwigwe's Tiny Desk performance where he does some of his best hits live with a full band flawlessly, or you look at a Lauryn Hill concert from back in the day, or a couple years ago The Roots and Common did a tour together, my god that was a good live show. Just sayin', there's a lot of greatness out there if ya know where to look. ✌💚
The best thing about Prof’s music is that it covers such a wide range of emotion- man can make you laugh, vibe, and cry all in the same show. Not a lot of performers can claim the same these days
Saw him back in May, hands down one of the best shows I've ever been to. Saw Joyner Lucas and Sleep Token after and while both great shows, PROFs was hands down the best.
It really is a great time. first saw Prof in Duluth, MN where his dad tried killing himself I'm now learning,. Crazy. His video for Tombstones was filmed around the North Shore where I live too, and it sent chills down my spine. Dude is honest, and as real as it gets. That said, he fucking lit up this small town when it felt like it was -10 degrees outside with crazy wind chill a couple years back at an outdoor show. I've been a huge fan ever since. The Horse release party in the cities was lit as fuck too.
I am totally in tune with Prof. If his music didnt resonate with me as much as it has this whole interview would change my mind. This dude is solid! Great artist and a real ass person. I'd be friends with him
I'm about to turn 39.. I feel this man. You change your life perspective a lot and try to think about what really matters in life and how you want to spend it...

Just found Prof in the last year from RUclips shorts, and I’ve been loving what I see and hear! Hope to see him live someday! Glad for the interview to get to know him a bit.

King Gampo ❤ Minnesota is wild! I moved because I could feel it coming. Didn’t want my boys to have to walk the same road I went down there so we moved out of state in August 2019. Few months later the pandemic hit and then the riots. It was sad to watch, all that the first year we moved away from our home 😔🙈 Then my husband introduced me to Profs music. Louisiana came out and I instantly became a Prof fan! ❤ we love Pookie Baby! My husband has been following him for YEARS! Blessed to have been introduced to the Gampo squad ❤
lol you didn’t want your kids to live in a beautiful state? Just stay away from the north side and lake street and the rest is beautiful crime free state. Your comment makes no sense in that regard.
Prof is one of the dopest performers out there. I'm glad he's out there doing some interviews and letting people know who he his. His music is amazing.
Adam22 finally doing interviews with non-gangster affiliated rappers! Wow, never thought I'd see the day... rather than glorifying your local gang affiliation, I'd like to see more focus on actual artists that are non-gang affiliated

Right on brother!
You know you’re in for one helluva story time when Prof shows up!!!
Yeah if the braindead host could keep his mouth shut and actually let his guest speak instead of interrupting and speaking over him constantly.
Prof is the best performer in hip hop (possibly any genre) right now. With just a stage, a microphone, and a beat I would put him up against anybody.
I know but it made no sense
RA the Rugged Man is right there too. No lights, no production value, nothing but a mic and a dj and murders. Prof and RA would be a nuts show
I’d throw Ren into that mix too. He’s incredible live
Tool, Rob Zombie, and 90% of Jam bands put on shows beyond Prof. Do you go to concerts, like, at all?
