Can you imagine being Christian Miller and knowing that at 17 years old you ran a wind legal 9.93 while the defending world champion is currently only at a wind aided 9.96? That must be a pretty insane high for a high schooler.
He knows they gonna run faster in June/July
@@TheoOJamaloO1 Of course. I'm just saying, to be 17 years old and currently faster than the world champ has got to be an amazing feeling for Christian Miller.
The 17 year old knows that pros are not looking to peak early like him. It's still early for pros to peak especially American and Jamaican pros you should know that
Nothing better than a Caribbean track meet this time of year. The weather is great, the food is great, the fans are great, the vibes are great. The sprinters feel great. Great stuff.
Bahamas world relays will bring great splits. For the speed and spirit, it was my goal to go. Had to cancel.
The wind sucks
@@XDF745 hi, what do you mean ? The wind sucks ? Where ? In Nassau ?
@jean-lucfreret Was there even a single wind legal sprint in the whole meet? 💩
@@XDF745 OK, so you are only talking about the Bermuda Grand Prix.
Why do they have continue to run there? Every year it is crazy wind
Here’s more context. He was very sore leading up to this race and he just finished squatting 500+ pounds only a couple of days ago. This performance is nuts with this in mind.
Exactly, even couldn't finish his 200m training. People who don't follow athletes just be talking
500 pounds? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@fireuser11 more than that even. Check out his RUclips channel where you can find the workout.
@@fireuser11 more than 500 pounds actually. Check out his RUclips channel, where you can find his recent workout there.
@@fireuser11 yeah, even more than 500 pounds. Check out his RUclips channel for the recent workout.
Noah basically ran 10.10 (0.0) & Abby 22.93 (0.0) wind-adjusted, overall an underwhelming meet! Agree with ppl that it's time to move this meet away from Bermuda given the constant wind issues!
Yea I thought this would surely lead to faster times with the wind but still barely cracked 10. Crazy a high schooler is still at world #1
It's an Olympic year they are training to peak late in the year
For real! Obviously everyone is planning on peaking for the Olympics but times across the board are still unusually slow “even” for late April.
I witnesses first view Harry Schieffleburn run a 51 seconds flask 440 in gym class in 1972 in Wichita. 51/1.03/4= 9.87100 meters
Still faster than today
Get bermuda out of here
The island is waaayyyy too tiny and its in the middle of the atlantic ocean all by itself so its very windy almost all the time so its nearly impossible to have a wind legal race😕
Plus the track is slow.
Eventually we'll get a string of 9.8s all in a row and we'll all be missing when a HS kid was #1 in the world.
Of course, it’s the Olympic year so athletes are still training hard right now, as soon as they start the specific training for the Olympics nobody will stand a chance
Degrasse Jacobs and Bromell all had their season opener this weekend as well!
I don’t think a lot of people really cares about that *East Costal Relay* meet (that happened Friday & Saturday), based of what I’m seeing on Instagram.
How'd they do??
@@willstuart4504 brommell and jacobs had a dead tie in 10.11 (0.9)
@@MrPanggsactually it was Degrasse won with the same time as Jacobs 10.11s. Bromell was 3rd at 10.13s
@@BDQ1975 They must have updated the results and I missed it
Wow, a TRP video without a cheap click bait headline...?!?!
Finally... (and I like TRP content, by the way).
Let's go, Noah!! 🎉
You make track so exciting to watch for me.
All elites/pros are still loaded Marcel Trayvon and Andre all in the same camp and Marcel said they were loaded and the performance was great
Noah Josephus Wade and Jereem are in the same camp and Noah said he was still sore going into this meet
Aaron and Kenny in the same camp it’s similar story with them
Fred has been doing 400m work for a minute so he definitely going into meets Fatigued
It’s to early for athletes of their caliber to be peaking or sprinting ridiculously fast
People in the stands always have the most to say
Wrong.. Josephus trains with Vince Anderson.
yep Coleman said the same thing after the race. They are running with tired legs pretty much. Most people don't get that tho.
i heard aaron brown and immediately thought “Erin Brown???”😂
Same😂
Hate that dude😂
the grip Erin Brown have on track fans is crazy
A Namibian sprinter ran a 100m in 9.86 last weekend with a +4 tail wind
What do you think of that ?
Tell him to com to the olympics ,and he would not even make the finals
Coleman wasn't in the race....no reason to open up 5th gear, when only 4th was needed. Nice early season tune up and win. He's barely warm.
Noah lyles the boss .
Crazy how with that wind they had bad times
Likely a crosswind
Not possible that there is cross wind at every single women's 200 in 2024
The main thing to me was not the time but the gap Lyles put on the field. There were a few solid pros he absolutely dusted in that race. He’s looking strong.
The other guys are not on the same m level, so nothing new here
@@Yes_I_c4nagreed. Weak field.
@@jean-lucfreret true
@@Yes_I_c4nTwo of them are Sub9.90s and a couple 9.9s low, what are you talking about?
Lyles is king
How was the women's 200m a very strong field? Sounds like that statement was just to elevate Steiner. That was as far from a very strong field as night is from day.
2 minuttes ago is crazy
this comment 2 mins ago is crazy
2 minutes ago is NOT crazy
I ran the 400 and 800. There is in shape and, then there's in track shape.
I feel like the track is also super also bc there's no way the race was that slow with a +3.0 tailwind
Please check on Gilbert Hainuca he ran a 9.86 in the men's 100m at the Namibia Nationals it's the first sub 10 after the great Frankie Fredericks, not sure of the wind though but if its on the allowable then he's the new 🌎 1.
Why is he not getting on this he will be #1 world all conditions 9.86 insane time
It was run at altitude with an illegal +4.9m/s tailwind, almost 2.5x above the allowable +2.0m/s limit. The adjusted time is around 10.08 (0.0) or 9.98 (2.0) at sea level. He should try to run the 10.00 Olympic Standard at sea level over the next few wks!
Well for all of Noah’s talking, everyone’s fave Texan MARCELL JACOBS ran a legal 10.11 (+0.9) for his season opener. Not sure where a 9.96 (+3.0) for a season well under way, ranks in a celebratory scale…
Lyles also ran a 10.01 with a +1.7 at the tom jones invite
@@TheoOJamaloO1 ya. My point is more that he’s been active.
Noah ran a 10.01
Lyles jogged in bemuda and still clocked 9.96.
😁
Let. Noah. Cook. 🔥
If wind is a factor why have such a meet there?
bros glazing too much
Hes a drider
3:05 missing Brandon Hicklin, Malachi Murray and Hiroki Yanagita
Abby posted that it was 60 degrees so that no doubt contributed to the slower times.
De grasse
Jacobs
Lyles
Bromell
We should keep an eye on these people.
Nah Marcell is a nonfactor. He hasn't and probably won't run anything close to his Olympic time in the future.
Coleman, Bednarek, Tebogo, Lindsey, Simbine...
@TheoOJamaloO1 them too. But we kinda seen them last year. Can't wait for andre mostly tho
They may have been the premier events for this meet but to say the 200m women’s was a strong field is quite the stretch.
Slow times this year 😭😮
Still early
Nostradamus calls for patience in the pews.
That tells me if we are good and faithful and stay off bandwagons and ride with the best our nations have to offer in Paris the athletes will set the church and the track on 🔥 fire.
I am with you Nostradamus. I will keep the faith 💯🔥❤
I went to this
People still run great times in April TRP. Its kind of their capacity right now because they are actually going all out in this races.
But lets keep our fingers crossed. But truly, they are not living up to the billing to be honest.
What were you expecting? TRP makes all of the hype, talking 9.7s low etc, people fall for it and then disappointment sets in.
@Yes_I_c4n and yet all you do all day long is comment on his videos. You make me sad mate.
@@jacobdoyle420 Are you TRP? Don't cry mate.
TSLA
Andrew talk about The World relays we want to see your take on which nations will likely conquer...dont say possible positions just analyse ....
that Miller MAN is not 17 pls 😭😭
Noah lyles is GOAT‼️😁
I agree with you 10000000000%. No on can run with lyles ,noah is tje fastest ,the Best ,the greatest ,the king.
Is it me or is everyone slower this season ?
Lyles is the Best on the Planet.
+3.0and barely under 10? I don't like his chances at usain's record lol
Noah lyles cannot break bolts 200m if he doesn't at least run low 9.7s or high 9.6s next year will be his final chance to do it as he'd be past his prime. Its more likely that Tebogo or Knighton will break Bolts 200m
If you believe any of them will do it then guess again.
@@alexreid2365 never said they would ,but they’d have more of a chance than Lyles atp.
What makes you think Lyles can go 9.7s low?
@@Yes_I_c4n I’m just saying he has to in order to have a chance at the 200m record. Highly unlikely though
@@DanielAiello-sv1bmOk. Not sure if there's a coŕrelation there Yohan was a 9.69s sprinter, but his curve was not too fast, it was slower than some other guys'.
Lyles aplit a 10 07s in his 19.31s and his 100m that season were slow. Last season he was much faster in the 100m, yet slower in the 200m.
So, even a 9.7s could mean little for the 200m.
well it would be funny if olympic gold would be a 10 second race and i dont even think that would be impossible seeing all these times, specially if there is head wind. it could be sprinters will be getting faster and faster this season, but right now its looking bleak. i would also like to point out tho that hurdlers generally dont like tail wind, they rather even have a slight head wind.
Times will get faster. Just forget about a 9.7s low or something like that.
It's April the athletes are loaded with heavy training. Right now they are just working on things. The fast times will come June/July. We will see more sub 10's next month.
Noah is most likely trying to stall his peak run till the Olympics, bc peaking mid season doesn’t rly do him any good
It is a bit disrespectfull to not post a video about the defending olympic champion great season opener
A namibian just ran 9.8
If you're hitting your peak times in April you're def burned come Olympics
Abby FINEr
Lyles is the fastest ,lyles is king
They should not have meets here haven't they learned
Bermuda is North Atlantic, not Caribbean. Difficult conditions. So fans should stop looking at the times and just look at who finished in what position. Also, anyone who runs their fastest in April is making a big mistake. And we all know that.
Bolt should jump back in it..9.8 ish probably wins gold
can't say anything yet and Bolt opened up his season with 10.0 multiple times himself.
@@TheoOJamaloO1It would be cool to see someone through down a sub 9.8 for gold, but I’m skeptical
This was a disappointing grand prix. The field was poorer than other years.
Actually 2024 outdoors has been slower than other years.
Except on women's and men's hurdles. Miller , Tebogo.
I know winter was great and noone is at his peak so far from the Olympics and trials.
Why type this if you already know that?
@@mertholomy8414lmaaooo true
How’s was dominating by lyles?? 😂 gtoh!! He had that much of wind assistance and still didn’t run an amazing time against a vanilla field of other athletes.
First
Barely breaking ten seconds with a tail wind.
The track is slow
Matthew Boling ran that same time in high-school.
You lying son of a gun enough it’s 9.98 and it’s wind aided what is it with you manipulators these days every worse you don’t even know our doing it 😒
About time fast mouth, champion of what.
Noah looks too heavy
Times are slow asf
They are training to peak later in the year
As usual at this time in the season.
It's April the athletes are loaded with heavy training. Right now they are just working on things. The fast times will come June/July. We will see more sub 10's next month
Nobody is yet running worth a damn so far this season. I get it's still April and yadda, yadda but the performances should be much better. I took a deep breath and, yeah, still sh*t.
Yea, for real. This is an Olympic year! Barely breaking 10 sec with a 3m/s tail wind is slow even for late april.
@@georget8943 It's April the athletes are loaded with heavy training. Right now they are just working on things. The fast times will come June/July. We will see more sub 10's next month
@@TheoOJamaloO1 I know they are running under load but if you look back historically at the times run by top sprinters in April and may the times this year are still unusually slow. Does that mean we won’t see fast times at all this year? No of course not. But it is certainly odd that pretty much everyone is running sub par on both the men’s and women’s side.
Slow of this camp. I wonder if they’re trying to peak for the Olympics.
obviously
Damn thats trash
Go slower
Blah blah blah get to race
