- We stayed 2 nights at the Santhiya Tree Resort on Koh Chang Island in Thailand. A very nice traditional Thai style Resort.
We booked through their website and managed to get a good deal. 3800 THB for 2 nights including breakfast and a free 1 hour massage for 2 people.
The resort has 2 pools, one in the main building and one at the beach. We enjoyed a great sunset at this resort on Koh Chang.

I have just been to the Santhiya Koh Yao Yai and it was absolutely fantastic! The best hotel I have ever seen and really indescribably beautiful. However, it is situated on the side of a mountain, so all the rooms have a fantastic sea view.
At 5:05 we had to turn left for our pool access room, which has the access to the pool in the back, but the veranda in front with a beautiful view to pool and the sea! We enjoyed our stay 4 years ago very much. A beautiful resort with nice charming staff. Nothing to top! And Suplalak and her brother playing some Thai music at the end of the video! Thanks for these memories.
Going to stay at this resort next week, looking forward to it!
Everything is soo perfect, I think this is the first resort I see with such a great traditional design and it’s nice to see that every detail is made with a lot of attention and care 🙏🏻

so lovely. we stayed just around the corner at the Dewa over 10 years ago. So amazing sunsets there.

Was staying in a private pool villa at this resort when the 1st reports of Covid came out of China. I managed to get 3 nights for £180 a night then at short notice as normally it was a lot more expensive and way beyond my normal price range. Breakfast was amazing anf staff so nice and helpful. Found food and drink to be very expensive and due to the distance the resort is from other eating options meant you had to get taxi if you dont have your own transport.

I know this corner of Koh Chang very well for having had a wonderful stay at the watercolors resort, I was very impressed by this large building, I can't wait to discover it from the inside. See you soon klong prao Beach

You mentioned that the beach is shallow, how far out do you have to go to swim? 1 m deep water at least

Yeah.... thats definately the former Panwiman Resort. Stayed there probably 15+ years ago.
