It's a growing trend, sadly...I have watched a LOT of camping type videos, van life stuff, too, and campground are getting more and more picky about who they 'allow' to use their facilities. It IS a money grab, and it is very discriminatory against tent campers, popups, home made campers, etc., they just want the high dollar expensive RV's that cost a fortune. Van lifers are having a harder time finding a place to sleep for the night, so many are now literally being physically attacked, even older couples enjoying their retirement by traveling, it is really sad. Sorry it happened to you, it is really bs to treat people this way. Snobbery and greed does seem to go hand in hand, doesn't it, sigh. But at least you did have a good time overall and for that, I'm really glad. Hugs and love to you!
