Backstep Cradle is an awsome position with really good control. Much easier to get the kneebar that without the Cradle.

There are someways you can defend the cradle but the best way is to prevent. Don´t let im grab between your legs and close the grip. If the Cradle is locked in it is extremly uncomfortable.....
