I'd like to mention that I despise shortened links. By shorting a link, you hide where it leads. I have to put full trust in you (or whoever makes the link) that it does not lead to a malicious site. And, what is more, you are giving full control to the provider of short links. They could change where the links lead whenever they feel like it. Not that they'd be so evil, but what if their servers are attacked, or if the domain name gets sold to someone else? In short, I'm not clicking those links.
