It's kind of hilarious. I've worked with teachers who were valedictorians growing up, and even though all of our training tells us to be sensitive to the culture of our students, teachers are nervous and self-centered and blowing it all the time. I've worked at exclusively poorly-run inner-city minority student schools, but it is wild how out of touch teachers can be. Not saying they're all bad - But good thing for you weeferwafer2316 (cool name) that you know yourself and what's working for you. And for real, I learned about techno from the kids I taught; I'm a metalhead at heart but I noticed how Hispanic inner-city kids knodded their heads to beats like these while they were working, and for real I know I am lucky to be a teacher to hang out with cool kids like that. Then he played a chronological retrospective of house to breaks to hardcore to jungle to DnB. HEAVY Played Music by Bukem and even Mr Kirk's Nightmare 😎 I went with a 28 yr old Kiwi who didn't recognise any of the tunes, just kept saying, "this is amazing": Let's keep this music alive my friend. Here's to another 3k 💫
