We are 730+ night cruisers on HAL. We just did our first Princess cruise on the Regal and totally enjoyed the food in the Allegro dining room for dinner. The food was varied and every bit as good as HAL. In the buffet on the Regal, I did not care for every passenger touching the serving utensils. HAL serves the buffet food. We didn't gain any weight, and we are careful about our food choices.

Hello! Just watched your great video on Celebrity Beyond dining. We recently came back from Celebrity Edge cruise. I think you may have failed to mention that in any of the main dining rooms one can order items from another main dining room specialty menu. For example in Cosmopolitan you can order baked Brie from Normandie and short ribs from Cyprus. If you did mention this info already I apologize 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Chris, I just discovered your channel. I have been on two cruises myself. The first in 1994 on Princess, the second on raw Caribbean in 2003 my husband and I got married in the port of Miami on the explore of the seas in 2003. So this year will be our 20th anniversary Coming up on December 6. I really wish we could’ve gotten to go on another cruise this year to celebrate our anniversary.
This question may be out of your reach of knowledge, but do you know which cruise line would be more accessible to a blind person. I lost my site last December, so haven’t travelled anywhere since losing my site. I’m not sure which ship would be more accessible to a blind person, although I watch Molly Burke channel. As she is a blind RUclipsr and has gone on princess and I think celebrity. She found princess to be more accessible to a blind person as the medallion she found was very helpful. So she could order a drink anywhere on the ship and it would be brought to her because the medallion has tracking on it.
I will, of course be cruising with my husband who is cited so that’s one bonus. I just have concerns about which ship would be more accessible friendly to a blind person than another ship.
I don’t know if you can research this, but there was a blind Paralympian from Canada. I think he is a swimmer. He actually got asked by the cruise ship. I think it was Virgin to get off the ship because of him being blank. The cruise didn’t think he could manage on his own on the ship. They thought it was a safety concern. He tried to tell him that he’s travelled all over the world by himself and then a four time Paralympian. But the cruise didn’t seem to care and kicked them off the ship. Donovan wrote on his social media how he just got kicked out Virgin voyages for being blind. The vice president of Virgin voyages contacted him and said that he was so sorry that that happened to him. He offered Donovan a plane to catch up to the cruise at Rotan. so Donovan did take that offer and continue on his cruise as normal.
I believe that happened to Donovan last November.

You raise an interesting question and it is certainly beyond my level of knowledge. I would think Princess and/or Holland America might be the better options because they tend to have an older clientele, which may have more vision issues.
The Princess medallion system does offer some interesting benefits in this situation that no other cruise line has mastered at this point.

Just a correction on your comment that perhaps princess or how would be a better fit if you are blind or visually impaired cruiser because they cater to older cruises.
You can be blind or visually impaired at any time in your life. You can be born blind, or lose your vision at any time, or have low vision. I just want to know what ship may have more accessibility features, and offer more accommodations for the blind or visually impaired. Maybe this will help with future questions on your RUclips channel. Some accommodations available to blind or visually impaired cruisers are: you can ask for accommodation such as large print daily cruise sheets such as the princess powder on princess. Or large print menus. But of course you have to ask for those accommodations as well in advance of your cruise. You can also ask the kitchen to cut up your food before being served to you. I know since I lost my vision it’s very difficult for me to cut up meat. So if the kitchen would cut it up for me in advance of serving it to me, that would be great.
I know the question was out of your reach because I think you were assuming that when you get older you need glasses to read things. But a vision and parent is quite different from that. For example, if you have glaucoma, you lose your peripheral vision. So if you have kids in the house, you can’t see them in your perfect vision so you might walk into them or run them over or bump into them if you’re turning sideways. Or if you have lost your central vision, it may be difficult for you to read anything printed such as your medication or a menu.

@@jholly5747 I realize that anyone can lose their sight at any age, but my point was that Princess and Holland America are more equipped to deal with guests who have a variety of challenges, one of which may be sight loss.

You need to do some homework on how the cruise ships are required to process (on board) completely, all waste products coming from the ship. What can't be processed on board is returned to land and properly disposed of. There are huge fines if this isn't done according to international or maritime law. I really don't think they are feeding the fish as you described.
