I'm so glad you like it!! When I first got it, I thought man this is a tiny little knot. Seeing how my favorite brushes were like in the 26mm range (Atomic Rocket, Doppler, Star Wisp), I figured I'd made a mistake.
Like you I found the M7 to be a lather monster. I've used it in smooth bowls, and it rough bowls. It doesn't care, it whips up that lather. I've used it with Gingers Garden, Hoffmans, 345, PAA. It gets the best out of all of them. As you found, the precision painting of lather the M7 delivers is amazing. I never really thought I would care too much about that, but again, surprise!
JimiV, I'm so glad that my review confirmed what you already knew to be true. Agree with you on all points. Amazing bowl lathering brush. yes, i know how you love the 26mm knotted brushes. Like you, I was totally blown away by how the M7 perfoms.
Just as important as the brush is the handle. I need something I can really get a good grip with, and this kind of handle is especially easy to hold onto.

Morning Mark. Nice shave today. That brush seems to do a great job of making a lather. Simpson makes nice brushes. Some of their brushes are a little bit pricey for me. Maybe someone can get it for me at Christmas. 😅

William, I love my brush scuttle because I really enjoy doing a face lather. However, this brush might convert me to use shave bowls and scuttles a lot more often.
