Interesting estimation of your opinion, Rusty! I think blade opinions are subjective, they depend on each person. I agree with your top 3 blades, 7Oclock black, Iridium Super & Feather. Have a great Sunday!
Thanks for showing off your blades, rusty. I’ll have to try some of these. I’ll always stick with the same ones and want to switch it up. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, there's a large assortment of blades out there on the market. There's some really worth the time to use and enjoy and some to just avoid! Have a great day
Great vid, Brother! I agree with most of your list. The Treet Platinums and the Personnas might be on the top for me, too. I rarely push blades above 4 uses, though. The Wizamets come in a 250 pcs sleeve for around $40, That helps with the cost. Happy Birthday to your Dad! Fun fact. I've gotten my Dad into soaps. He just asked me bring some soap for this up-coming holiday to Denmark. The two I gave him last year are about done. He uses the two brushes I also gave him every day, too. He still prefers cartridge razors, though... Have a great weekend! 🤙 #WAD
Thanks Sig, they're a subjective thing with the shave, but for the most part we have a similar choice in blades. That's a wonderful thing with your father and shaving. My dad went into the hospital Friday afternoon and spent the day traveling on Saturday to visit him, he's doing better now after a procedure. Have a great day
Thanks for a run down on your blade preferences Rusty. Wizamets are my current top blade and I have a lifetime collection of them, my other top 5 blades are Nacet, Rapira Lux, Dorco Prime HQ & Winner Platinum (India), after those there is a bunch (20 or so) of blades that work really well for me. These days there's not many blades that I can't use at all and some blades that I didn't like a few years ago now feel fine. I have a stockpile of 2000+ blades and my practice is to change my active blade on a weekly basis (3 or 4 shaves) except Wizamet is 2 weeks. Take care my friend👍😎
Thanks Lawrie, those Wizamets are in a lot of peoples top blades collections. I haven't used those Rapira blades yet, that's the thing I wanted to do is get a idea of what people really like for their shaving blades. We do have enough blades to last a long time 😎👍 Have a great day
When The Razor Company has Wizamet's in stock, they sell for $40 for 250 blades, which comes to $0.16 apiece plus tax, plus shipping. That puts them at about twice the price of Astra SP blades. I get 4 shaves out of an Astra SP. I get far more shaves out of Wizamet's and they are both sharper and smoother than anything else I have tried so far. For me, it's Wizamet's, Nacet's, and Astra SP's in descending order of preference. I tend to like a sharpish but smooth blade in a medium efficiency razor, in the ballpark of the Gillette Flare Tip silver (not blue or red).
Thanks, those Wizamets seem to be in a lot of peoples top blades lists. I really need to look for a good amount of those blades and keep them in supply. Have a great day
@@TheRustyRazorOriginal The Razor Company has a "notify me when available" feature on their website. It vastly prefer buying from them over ordering from someone in Morocco... The Razor Company has outstanding customer service, IME. I guess I should be looking to stockpile some Nacets too. You never know what is going to happen to the supply chain of Russian made DE blades. So far, this has not been a problem, but there are trade sanctions in place.
Hello Rusty, you've pretty much rated blades by the number of shaves you get but what about the quality of the shaves? Do all of them perform just as well for you if say you were to use them just for one or two shaves? In which case, that would negate the advantage of the better blades since you're not going to be using them for more than a couple times. Would that put all blades at somewhat the same level of preference for you?
The number of shaves determines the quality of the shave, take for example the Wizamet or the Gillette Black blades provide a smooth quality shave for around 6 shaves before you start to notice the tugging. Now those at the bottom you start to feel the tugging feeling after two shaves, the Dorco blades feel tuggy after one shave and think of those as garbage blades.
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!

Have a great Sunday!
Thanks Hoon, a lot of the aspects of shaving is subjective on how they feel on the skin due to the hair thickness.
Have a great day
I was hoping to see all your blades collection in main packets
Ok, I have those in a different basket, Thanks
Thanks Rusty that you show your blade! And which for your good and not so! Have a nice weekend!
Thanks Robert, there's some really good blades and some to just walk away from using.
Have a great day
@@TheRustyRazorOriginal I don't particularly like Dorcos either, my father couldn't have had them either.
@@RobertsClassicShave Those are some really bad blades for sure!

Bro, from all them blades Wizamet and feather work well on me. I also recommend gillette platinum, accuforge and Perma Sharp
All those blades that you listed blades work well in most of my razors, have a great day
