Great video! I used the runner tip from one of your older videos to start a strawberry patch this year and from 2 plants I now have 7! What do you do with your strawberries over winter? Do you leave them in the styrofoam box until next spring/summer?
I personally haven't had any problems with grass hoppers, but you could make a netted cage by using some wire/thin bamboo stakes to make a frame and then cover it with fruit tree netting. Otherwise I've hear that garlic spray works well as a repellent, which you can spray onto your plants Hope these help Rebeka!

Strawberries in December in North Spain (I WISH). We grow hydroponic strawberries here, red and white ones.

What months do they grow in Perth WA.. my plants @ $4 a shot always dry up and die on me.. a l so Bunnings don't sell them with runners. :(
