Zak M Yeah I drove a rental Camry last year on a 1,400 mile road trip and averaged 40 mpg. It was a nice car and they have a long track record of reliability for the most part, but I wouldn’t sleep on the Koreans as they keep getting better with each generation. I like everything about the Camry except the interior design and the weird angles of the center stack, that’s really my only gripe.

The Sonata for those few years did have that problem and Hyundai did extend their warranty from 100,000 to 120,000 miles to make good on that issue. However, the Elantra line with the 1.8 liter engine has had much success. Google that design and its getting upward to 400,000 650 000 and as many as 1,000,000 miles on it. So far this is the best 2020 Sonata review out there.... I like the camera angle showing the driver's point of view from behind the wheel.
The exterior and interior styling on this vehicle are top notch. My only minor complaints are: I would prefer physical needles for the main gauges (Speedo, Tach, Fuel, Temp). I would also prefer a traditional shift lever instead of Hyundai's push button shift mechanism. These aren't deal breakers, and if I was impressed by a test drive I would still strongly consider purchasing this car.
I believe Raiti's Rides also test drove the Accord and Camry. Please provide your impressions on how the 2020 Sonata compares.

What I want to know is if the door can be opened by leaving the key fob in my pocket. I’m not very clear why I need the card.
Regarding design, the rear and side views are awesome but the front grill has to grow on me.

Greg Holman Ford/Lincoln idea is better. You can left the key fob inside the car and close it. You can open it with the combination at the B pilar. This is for cases like you are going to surf or for a swim.
