I've driven two Limiteds and and an SEL Plus over the past couple of days. While no speed demon, the car does not feel underpowered and the ride is quite composed. The interior quality is outstanding as are the front seats - very long thigh cushion provides more support than expected. Infotainment is outstanding for me - I run CarPlay so the lack of buttons is of minimal concern for my needs. The looks are subjective, but I think the color you choose matters. Mine will likely be a Limited, black/black. I'd prefer matte black plastic to the piano stuff, but cest la vie.

I drive just about every kind of regular car as part of my job, but I obviously haven't gotten the new Sonata yet, so I'm just guessing. But here's the problem for auto journalists, all the mid/standard-sized sedans are good, there is no bad choice. Which is why Ford and GM are getting out of the business. Until Nissan fixes the absolutely numb steering in the Altima, it will remain last place, despite it being pretty good at everything else. The Maxima is ok, but it has too much factory RICE that it just can't match with performance. The Camry is exactly what you'd expect. The Fusion is too slow, except the Sport, but otherwise fantastic. And I actually really like the Malibu with the 2.0T, the 2.4 N/A is too slow; in the premier trim I'd probably keep it above the new Sonata, but it costs too much new - too bad it's discontinued after this year. I'm not a fan of the Mazda6, yes it has the most sporty chassis and steering; but the infotainment is bottom teir, the seats are neither supportive nor comfortable, and it's slow.

AJ Lee instead of spending all that money on options, you should have bought a real car, like a 540 or M550. The 530 sounds and accelerates very similarly to a lawnmower. A 4 cylinder in a luxury midsize sedan is absolutely pathetic.
2016 F15 N55 remote parking only cost $700....I live in a populated city, with a short city commute. I don’t need a powerful vehicle. Besides, I don’t buy cars, I lease them. What’s the point of buying an deprecating asset that I’m going to trade in a couple of years anyways.
AJ Lee i don’t know where you live, but that isn’t anywhere close to a $700 option. The key fob that has the screen is $1,000 for a replacement so how on earth do you think it’s a $700 option?

The N line will get a 2.5 turbo engine with just under 300 hp
I need to know where Yuri found that hoodie..
this car design totally grows on you
This is one fire car of the new decade 🔥🥰
Wow I was looking everywhere for reviews on this car.
Thank you TheStraightPipes
Been waiting for this one. You guys just know how to capture the whole car when filming!
So glad someone else sees a catfish. Thought I was going mad haha
And happy New Years from Australia guys! Looking forward to another awesome year!
I love y’alls chemistry! You need a tv show!
The front end looks like the car is about to throw up!!
Still in love with my Elantra Sport.
jpakajw 2017 or 2018? cuz those were the best, 2019 just ruined the elantra
I owned a 2005 Hyundai Sonata Elite 3.3L V6 which had about 240hp. Owned it for about 10 years. Fantastically reliable and wasn't a slouch at all. I only wished it was RWD!
You guys hit the trending page! Congratulations!!!
🔥🔥🔥
FYI, my 60k 2017 BMW 530i had remote parking as well.
2016 F15 N55 they charged him extra elsewhere ;)
Imagine going to the Deep South just to drive a Hyundai
Well... worst angle on this car: front 3/4 view
Beat angle: straight rear
Sorry I’m not a fan of the new front end styling from Hyundai
Yeah, that grille is hideous, everything else is great.
No matter what you choose hyundai Toyota honda etc just be happy with your purchase.
It looks better in person.

I always love the we going for a drive part
Hyundai and Kia > Honda and Toyota.
I remembered this car as a kid. It's awesome to see it's still living on
I kinda think the drl is a bit tooo much at first , but the more I see it the more I like it
Yuri: "launch control!!!"
Jabob: "doesnt have it"
Me: "oh maaaannn" :(
why would you put launch control on a lawnmower engine
"I've got a great profile, especially from the side." - Bo Darville.
The new Kia Optima is more cooler and better looking than this
Eric Uh totally agree 👍🏼
Just off the bat I noticed this Hyundai also has wheels and doors. It's impressive how striking the similarities are and how far Hyundai has come. I mean a steering wheel and body paint? Hyundai really is reach new heights here
I sell Hyundai's and let me tell you, there is a big demand for these new Sonatas! I am in Alberta Canada, and we have waiting lists of people wanting these new coupes. I cannot wait until they arrive in my showroom! When I got to drive one a few months ago, I was absolutely blown away. Hopefully pricing gets released right away so I can work some deals! Great review fellers! I will be telling my customers to check out this video for sure!
The tail light is ripped off. Looks like a Civic.
The front end kinda looks like Mercedes-AMG GT4door
Wtf hell no
i could see it too
Grigor Penev hell no. Looks like a car from
GTA iv that crashed 20 times
I see it
am i the only one who think those tail lights are straight outta civic
Since the year is coming to an end I think you guys have the best car channel on RUclips keep up the great work entering 2020.
Question: How many times do it take you guys to do the intro when y'all say your names?? lol
This car has evolve so much, especially the Hyundai brand itself.
My old Ford Focus also had a feature from a $150k BMW. It always broke down
