This Sonata N-Line's front design is what BMW wanted to do with the 7 series but failed miserably. Whereas Hyundai perfectly executed this design. This car looks quite brilliant & aggressively amazing. Very much love this front design.
Just bought mine two days ago and love it. These guys nailed it. It drives like an European sport sedan but without the hefty price tag. Fast and responsive but also very comfortable. The electronics are incredible. The 2024 is a new design that rivals any European models.
Its a total rip off. Its advertised as a semi-performance, however it has nothing of it. Evenhy7ndai N divisionn CEO told n a conference the sonata n line was not a performance vehicle. Its just a regular sonata with 300 hp. Ot also has very poor owners reviews.
Ordered mine last Nov 2023. Expecting it to arrive late March 2024. Chose the Serenity White even though I prefer the matte grey, but the maintenance and cost of fixing/paint-matching rock chips on matte colours put me off. Will dark tint all 4 windows and rear screen, grab a set of black rims, remove rear "Sonata" badging and perhaps drop it 20mm with Eibach lowering springs. Won't touch engine or exhaust due to warranty.
Love the look of these .. saw one yesterday in my area and I couldn't stop looking at it.. If I were in the market for a larger vehicle, top of the list! I'll stick with my N-Line Premium i30 for the moment though.
I bloody love your video and edits, always crack me up with your sounds and mannerisms. Thanks boys keep up the good work. Placed a deposit on the 2024 i30 n sedan, cannot wait to see your review. The speed limit warnings on the Kona were a dealbreaker, now instead of a awd suv I’m going for complete opposite haha.
Facelift that may as well be a complete new model if it was other manufacturers. Great looking car, shame we've become obsessed with SUV and Dual Cab. It probably won't last much longer.
As a car enthusiast about to graduate university, this car is high on my list to get once I get a nice job. I’ll have my project car on the side to mess around with, and this could be the reliable daily
Omg thank you Hyundai for not doung the weird 2-ish spoke steering wheel. Also THANK YOU for not making the exhaust tip with 200 different lines. I love it
This car might not have an lsd but it has a great torque vectoring by brake that comes with the n-line package. This system was made for the veloster and got upgraded overtime and now its found and most turbo charged hyundai products. But not all of them are the same. Sport models have much more agressive torque vectoring then the rest of the line up. Its so good on the street that you would not see the difference in most cases with a proper lsd except is some situation where you have understeer. What is strange is that, only the sport modes are design to use it and so you have this strange thing where you get less traction in modes like smart or eco.
I just appreciate how serious these car look nowadays! I mean back in the 20th century they were just a mode of transport, now they're a way of representing the drivers personality and status.
Would have loved to have seen more of the upgrades in the sedan N facelift. Its crazy the difference especially on the interiors versus the N range now
06:15 Wired connection is far better than wireless, I wasted so much time waiting for my sister's phone to be disconnected before connecting my phone, what make it worse is that my family car, Hyundai Stargazer, only has wireless connection
Indian here.... This isn't ugly. It's just that this is ' faceless ' . Which takes away half of mind connection you are supposed to feel with an ice car. Half of the connection is in the ' face ' with various emotions( aggressive, neutral, funny, sad , ugly ) and other half how the engine talks to you. This car misses out on the first half. It will take a long time for any buyers who care about the face to develop a face for this in their minds.
The facelift makes this Sonata look sooooo much better. Total win, for sure. Is it also updated on the standard Sonata as well (even if likely less-sporty extent compared to the N-Line)? 07:01 Does the puppers come standard or is there an option?
My Sonata N line 2021 transmission died at 10k miles, just had it replaced and it’s not working again completely, so had to return it back again, great vehicle, but transmission it’s really really bad!
considering the fact that the US market does infact get wireless carplay but not the rear retractable shade, back window shades, memory seats, powered liftgate, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, heads up display, rear vents. id say the Australian market won.
I love love love my 2021 Sonata N-Line, I prefer the more aggressive styling of mine compared to the new one. They must have done some tuning because I get tons of wheel spin and skipping even without launch control!
Yes I heard it's just a matter of an over-the-air update later this year for the Aus market. I bought my 24 sonata last November. Expecting delivery late March 2024
Why do reviewers get so hung up on wireless CarPlay? It’s far more glitchy than a wired connection, and wireless chargers don’t really work and just heat your phone so if you want to charge, you plug in anyway.
Yeah. Even though it's called the N Line Australia it's the only model sold in Australia. Because of this it includes a combination of features available in other models in the package, but only the one Engine/Trans/Drive option so No AWD.
2024 i30 n premium sedan or 2024 sonata n-line. what do you recommend. I personally like the exhaust note in the i30n's and the interior in the sonata n-line. which one should I go for ?
just got the 2024 nline sonata trim a few days ago. definitely like the styling, etc. but here are several initial criticisms. 1. WHY oh WHY did hyundai flip the buttons on the steering wheel to make the radio and volume on the right and cruise on control on the left. super uncomfortable. it's always been volume and radio on the left side, why change it. stupid in my opinion. 2. why no spare tire. there's literally an actual empty hole in the trunk for it. i don't feel safe driving around with that tire inflation kit. 3. no rear air vent on the center console in the nline 2024 but apparently will be added on the 2025 meanwhile international versions of the 2024 nline have this feature included, as well some other features which i can't recall at the moment. 4. the drive mode. (there's only normal, sport, and my drive), why is there no eco or smart mode like in all the previous years' versions of the sonata. 5. very odd that you have to move the wiper lever downward for the individual single wipe. in the 20+ years of driving about 10 different cars, this is the first time i've encountered that. why would they change that. it has ALWAYS ALWAYS been to move the lever up for the single wipe. very weird. i think that's about it for now. as i keep driving, i'm sure ill notice more things.
I have a recorded 4.9 sec to 100km/h repeatable, i find the launch control lags it for the 1st 20km/h, take all traction off and hit it but control the slip manually and it is much quicker.
55k is not low price !! In USA the car is 36k U.S. dollars. The N line in USA Does HAVE wireless android auto and carplay. When you update. Should be same for England and Austrailia. I have the N Line 2024 Sonata. You can also sideboard the USA update to the Austrailian version. Lots of room in the Sonata as I'm 6 foot 5.
I’m very annoyed. I own this exact car in the USA, and with the N-Line trim, memory seats, powered passenger seat, ventilated seats, and heated steering wheel, powered trunk, 360 camera, the Heads Up Display and the sun shades were not even an option that you could pay for. Oddly enough, it does come with wireless CarPlay from the factory in the USA tho.
It's too bad that the USA version of this car gets none of the good QOL features. No rear ac vents, no heated steering wheel, no ventilated seats, no rear sun shades, no heads up display, and no rear amber turn signals.
I like the performance of the i30 N, but the interior and comfort doesn't come close to the Sonata. I bought the latter due to comfort and class, but it still rips
