I listened to this last night before going to bed. I was nervous about a surgery I had to have this morning. It soothed my soul.. I had tears in my eyes and felt calm. The music of Nightwish really is the medicine for the soul.
Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time. What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor.
Ciao. This song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends. You should listen to the full album, it's a journey!
@@martine3293 The whole album premiere is september 22. I am not an extreme fan of the last NW releases. But this one simse very meaningful and deep.❤️
This is the last song of the album and it makes perfect sence. In a beautiful way it closes the circle of life . We are all one. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.
I feel that this is from the perspective of someone who has just passed. The background images are from a bygone era depicting people who are no longer with us.
The song is about transcendence-when we die, we become part of nature, part of those small details that bring comfort to our loved ones: the sun in their eyes, a lucid dream, the dawn, the dusk, the feeling of touching the grass, the snow in their palms. We transcend into something larger than human existence, something that is everywhere, an eternal companion, powerful and greater. The song begins in the saddest tone, reflecting how Tuomas felt after the loss of his guide, his light. But then, it moves into acceptance and transcendence. Troy's voice represents him, speaking about his new path in Yesterwynde ( feeling that cannot be found in any human language) This is how the poet Tuomas wrote it. I could’ve wrong but this is what I understand
Nice Giacomo👍 Nightwish never was only metal and this song is putting the focus on Tuomas composition and Floor as a vocalist and showing their master craft and leaving us in "shock and awe". Beautifull Song.🤘
I feel like this song is a ode to everyone who lost theier parrents!! Floor sings the sentence, i was the one who climbed of your back not long ago, same words used in hows the heart i belive it is? that basicly why i say its about lost parrents, who became stardust..
"I climbed off your back, not so long ago" is a line from Our Decades in the Sun, off Endless Forms so Beautiful. The song, a paean to their parents, so echoed in this uplifting lament to Tuomas's father's death. It is stunning.
Third single released by Nightwish from their new album Yesterwynd (amazing title!).. ENJOY my reaction!!
No makeup, but her beauty shone bright through her performance. Absolutely stunning.
Floor is comfortable in her own skin ... those lines on her face tell a story of life, husband, children ... I think it a fine thing
I concur Traxx, i like her natural expression! She's beautiful in this way. Greetings from the Netherlands 🤘🔥🤘

Hauntingly beautiful. Yet, such a serene ending. The sadness and longing of a lifetime. Passing into a contented journey we all must face eventually.
