Tryed to rank the album songs, i think its a pure masterpiece!! i listened to the album several times by now, and i have to say,to the critics of the mix, the mix is perfect!! instead of just getting Floor, its a wall of sound, that is very much a part of creating the grand journey and atmosphere on this album. Indeed, "Sleeping Sun" can't hold a candle to Lanternlight. Deserves a truly grand performance with a live orchestra (think Epica's Symphonic Synergy AFAS concerts here). Floor in due time might add Lanternlight to her solo shows (she's done Decades so..).

I love how he re-worded lyrics from Our Decades in the Sun "I climbed off your back Not so long ago To a blooming meadow To a path you'd made for the lightest feet" to become " I am the secret stream Moss beneath your feet I am you who climbed off of my back Not long ago"

Lanternlight is breathtakingly gorgeous ❣️ Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time. What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor. Tuomas said that Lanternlight is a song of love to celebrate live of the people that passed. In this case mainly his dad I guess.
I am 67 years old, I grew up listening to the greats of of Rock and Roll, Heavy Metal....etc....and Nightwish is the band I ever dreamed about! I consider this song to be a tribute to all of our ancestors, all of them! Pure brilliance!! Thank you "Play Again?" I am sure you are going to listen to the song over and over again!

This album is so bad, the songs is under to many layers so I don’t hear what Floor sings and Empuus 10 secunds of guitar playing is also cover under some fog. But Troy who is no Marko there is it clear and it’s too much of him. But as Tuomas wingman he probably get all the space he want. Even if Tuomas is brilliant many times, but the three last album have been a sad story.
