  • Hey wiglets! I've been getting this question a lot lately, so I figured I'd make a tutorial!
    This is how I personally sew hair into a lace front wig using the blanket stitch, this technique would also work on a full lace wig.

    i've been watching your videos and thank you because I never thought all these things were possible with synthetic wigs. I'm a beauty school student at Aveda Institute in Soho. I love color and extensions and want to specialize in wigs so your videos really push my creativity and now I'm definitely going to be in touch to take a class with you!

    Hey Bobbie! Love the video! The wig is a 27/613 (good guess!). I got it down in Texas. I think it's from the R&B wig collection. It's synthetic but you can take heat to it. I'll do a better job of keeping track of the hair I have. Anyhow, great job! There's a reason why I constantly come to you!!!

    Thanks for your informative and well done tutorials!! I hope you can help... I am looking for a way to add hair and fill in bare spots in the front (not where wefts are, but crown of cap and front hairline). Do you do that too? I think that is called ventilation, which looks complicated and would need experience and certain skills I don't have. Do you do offer this? Know anyone who does? Or where/ how to find people who do? (Either on east coast or west coast.) Know an alternative? Thanks in advance for any info or suggestions, and keep up the great work!

    I love, love, love you channel! That wig is an O-zone lace front by Aplus, the lace on that unit is great for lighter colored complexions. I do have a question for you: can you unstretch the lace that has been stretched out on a lace front wig or is it a lost cause?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      Oh awesome!! I thought it looked familiar to an ozone wig another friend had brought me! Makes sense! They're beautiful wigs! You can't really unstretch it, nope. But You can always sew a tuck in the lace where it meets the foundation.

    How much would you say you charge to add tracks to a wig, (a round about price please)

  • @rodney2k08
    @rodney2k08 10 лет назад

    If I was to see the tracks in upside down would it add more volume with out having to back comb as much?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      It would, but it also would split in between the wefts of the wig and the wefts you've sewn unless you're sewing every track.

    Hi Bobby! I have a question about beach bath ... i have been using Bobby Boss Indian Remi i have it about 3 months and this is the first time on this extentions that i done a bleach bath every time i do bleach baths on these extensions it does nothing!!! it still matts like crazy in the back and sheds.... i followed the instructions to the T but as far as the hot water as my sink water does not get that hot i put a pot of water on the stove just to get it hot not boiling... it still matts up not with just this one but with every Bobby Boss hair i Buy!!! why buy expensive hair when it just matts?!!! what am i doing wrong please help me.

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      I'm not a huge fan of the bleach bath personally and have never done one. You're basically slowly burning off the cuticle of the hair with the clorox which would just make it tangle worse. All hair, regardless of texture and price will tangle it's the nature of the beast. Be sure to always brush thoroughly and use a conditioning mask as well as conditioning and hydrating leave in and heat protection products.

      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      I'm not entirely sure of the style name of the wig but it is definitely an Ozone brand wig in a 27/613.

    Hey bobby this is so my issue I need help. I received a loose curly wig from amazon that is the wrong length and the density I think is 80%. It’s a lace front wig with a built in cap. The wig is from China just like this configuration in your video except the cap starts in the middle down to the bottom. I’m trying to make the wig longer. I have curly hair to add should I add every other track or a track on every line??

    • @tmoni7839
      @tmoni7839 4 года назад

      The wig is a 20 inch (that i didn’t order) I ordered a 32 inch. The tracks I have to add are Italian curl 30 36 36 36

    Hi do you do the same with shorter mens Toupees?

  • @KupcakeUnwrapped
    @KupcakeUnwrapped 10 лет назад

    awesome...so how long is this process on average? also, you said you're just gonna fold it back and forth, does that mean you don't cut the track of hair when you get the end of each row? also you said you're gonna steam and roller set it.. is that the only way to properly style synthetic hair?
    oh, and do you buy hair in bulk? online or in small stores typically run by sweet chinese women haha?

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      it depends on how much hair you're adding in and how quickly you sew, I usually do it in less than 90 minutes.

    Hi I have just spent 200 pounds on a full lace human hair wig it came to me really thin having 6 to 7 holes in between the hairs they refuse to exchange but I love the wig would I have to ventilate the whole wig or is there a way of sewing in wefts and still having the same look if that makes sense thanks

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  9 лет назад

      morganna barney You can do either ventilating or sewing, sewing is definitely much faster but the wefts will most likely be a bit visible when you pull the wig up or away from your face.

    • @pb2984
      @pb2984 9 лет назад

      Thanks I think I'm going to try both sew in the back and ventilate the top and sides thanks for your help great videos x

    If companies wouldn't skimp on material, and would do it the correct way the first time, we wouldn't be put in these situations. It's the American way. Charge what you want, and skimp on quality.

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      I'm not sure what all was a question and what wasn't, as I don't see any question marks. But, I do a stitch called the blanket stitch.

    • @shawnahines9195
      @shawnahines9195 10 лет назад

      ***** lol sorry my bad i was asking should I split the truck be4 sewing them on? And do i so directly on the track or between them? And for the wigs blocks do u sell them. I hope thats better and sorry for the frist comment that was not very clear.

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      If the wefting is too bulky for your liking I would say to split it, it does help to split them when you're sewing into the top portion so it lays flatter. I always sew in between the wefts of the wig. Yes, I sell blocks.

    • @shawnahines9195
      @shawnahines9195 10 лет назад

      ***** ok so you sew between the tracks not on them? the part of the wig the tracks r sewed on? Right and for a long neck one how much will it be with shipping im in modesto ca

    • @WigginOutBZ
      @WigginOutBZ  10 лет назад

      Yes, I sew between the tracks. I only have 23 inch blocks in long neck right now, info is at bobbiepinz.com.
