You can also use this method to make your lace wig longer, I recommend using bundles that are no more than 4 inches longer than the length of your wig for this.

I really like this! I bought a "project' wig off Mercari. Once I washed, detangles, conditioned and let it air dry, I realized that the back is waaaay to thin. I am doing every step based on RUclips videos! The wig has a terribly bad bob cut. Removing the lace glue, sewing in some extra hair and a good cut would make it suitable. Thanks so much for sharing.

I just ordered a kinky headband wig from YWIGS. I hope it's not top thin. I don't like really big hair. However, I will convert my kinky clip-ins to filler hair if need be. Lol.

Thank you so so much I bought a a week from Amazon and leave me when I buy away from Amazon it's always full and sick and everything's unless I take care of it bad but I put away from a hair company and the only one they had was 18 inch I wanted a 24 inch so it can look fuller but when I got that 18 inch it was very thin in the front and the ends was very thin and I didn't want to call me on brush it because I didn't want the wig to start shedding . So I think I'm going to go to the beauty supply store and see if I can some hair that matches the hair color and texture so I can make it Fuller and longer to my liking. Sorry this might seem like a really clueless question lol, but i am a complete beginner. Can i do this if i have a 5x5 lace or does it have to be full lace. The front at the sides are so thin on my wig and i want that to be thicker. Is that possible

What inch bundle do you add to the lace front wig
The length of the tracks I add depends on the length of the wig. For a 20 inch wig, the longest I’ll add is 24 inch tracks 💕

I have a 24 inch wig and I wanted to add bundles to it but I do wanna make the hair longer to like maybe like 28 or 26 could I do that and it still look nice?
Will it shed a lot in the places where you cut the tracks ?
The shedding will be minimal 💕
Did you use a specific thread? Like polyester or nylon?
I just used the regular thread that’s used to weave hair, I’m not too sure what it’s made of 💕
If I have a 26in curly wig could I go shorter with the tracks or stay longer?
I would recommend going with shorter length tracks only if you don’t mind clipping the ends of the 26 inch wig 💕

I have a 22 inch wig but I only have 18 inch bundles I just want the ends thicker do you think I can use it ?
Heyy, the 18 inch bundles won’t necessarily reach the ends of the 22 inch wig unless you clip the ends.
I would recommend trimming the ends of the wig a bit so the contrast between the bundles and tracks isn’t too much (if you don’t mind losing some length) 💕
Can I glue the tracks in?
I would recommend seeing over gluing the tracks as it lasts longer. With regular brushing etc, the tracks could still separate when they are glued whereas they wouldn’t if they’re sewed in 💕
Would it look off if the bundles are longer then the actual length ?
Aim for bundles in the same length region as the wig to avoid the wig looking off e.g. 20 inch wig, add 22/24 inch bundles to lengthen. You can double the bundles to conceal the length difference more 💕
