    I am running MSFS from Steam. My MSFS "community" directory is empty. So no documentation for any plane is available if running from Steam.

      @@jonbeckett ok, if it is elsewhere, any idea where if might be on Steam install? I tried search in Steams Flight simulator directory plus the separate very large 132gb simulator data directory. From your posting, many other aircraft have documentation in the same place. Having access to that documentation would be very helpful.

    Unfortunately buying this was a big waste of money, my aircraft won't move anywhere! ... completely stuck in the water, no anchor is set, throttle full open annnnnd nothing ... even after slewing the aircraft, nothing ... so pissed off, arggggg

    I played around with this aircraft this morning. By far the best ship plane out. I really hope your controls does an update for this aircraft. It would be amazing to fly this with 4 people.

    My gf and her son said the startup procedure on my gas-powered pressure washer is too complicated because it has a fuel cutoff, gas lever, a choke, and a switch for the spark. This video is probably an accurate representation of how I looked to them.

    Excellent, thanks for sharing. There's a lot to the startup procedure (although it gets much easier as you do it) but it's easy to take off, fly and land as long as you have the area. I never even knew you can actually see the anchor dropping down, so that's incredibly awesome. I believe the fuel valve levers underneath the generator levers need to be turned on during startup. It appears they were already open by default in your case or else it would not have started. Good stuff, and no doubt a 5 star plane for those of us who like these kind of aircraft.

    Nice, these PDF docs, but I cannot access any of the file system in my Xbox in any way. Hope Microsoft has (or will implement?) a way for me to access those documents on my PC for Flight Simulator content I bought in the marketplace. Is there a website I can log into with my Microsoft account to get to this, or... am I just out of luck for now..?

    It would be very unusual, if this was in knots. It should be kilometres and hour, because this is used usually in germany. It also makes more sense, because the plane has a very large profiel and 150 is a common speed for these planes to produce a lot of uplift. 150 knots would be around 280 km/h, which would be a bit fast for such a plane. Jets often take up at 150 knots, while they have a much sharper profile with less uplift, so this is very likely km/h (also written down there in small letters on the gauge)!

    • @Marco-gx7ok
      @Marco-gx7ok 11 месяцев назад

      @@Scootero That does not change much, but is more about a definition. Compared to other "flying boats", which are closer to ekranoplans it was more a plane, because it was not only flying in use of the ground effect. But independent of this question, this does not affect the themes I was talking about in any way. It would on the opposite support the facts, I was talking about. The basic aerodynamic principles apply no matter, how you define it! So I don't understand your statement, because it has nothing to do with aerodynamic nor german measurement. 🤔

    The pilot had no throttle control. He had to tell the engineer to give him more or less beans. I wonder if the engineer could control all the throttles as a gang or half-gangs or individually.

    Hey Jonathan, I've just bought the TF - 104G directly from the in - game marketplace. The external software that I am supposed to run the radar with is not provided as shown in the manuals. I was wondering if you could take alook at how the aircraft has changed since most videos are a year old and I don't really have any good source of information on how to fix my issue.

    Going back/forth on this one. I already have the Latecoere and it is a really good model, etc and has some great features. The thing that is stopping me from purchasing the DoX is that the graphics inside of the plane remind me of FSX. I'm not a fan of the wallpaper and the cockpit area looks below standard for detail for this sim.
    Can someone who owns both of these please give me some insight?
