Nice reaction! I was also a Marching drummer, and I heard the tempo slip once or twice, but they play to a click track, so they get right back into it. Also Ale (bass) is a human metronome and she will give Pau (drums) a look if she is off tempo. They are such a talented group of sisters, they must be Unicorns from the Planet Rocktopia! To be that young and write, arrange and perform this masterpiece of an album (you will see how good it is as you go) is unreal.
In Ugh the obsession is clearly growing and is consuming the Queen. She is afraid of what she is becoming. She doesn’t want it to be that way, she wants it to be simple (“I don’t want to understand, I just want to hold your hand”). She asks to be saved and feels that she is sinking down into a trap. She doesn't know it at this point, and doesn't intend it, but there will soon be blood on her hands.
It's very difficult to say who they sound like because they have taken so many small elements from so many others that they are not emulating anyone in particular. They did do a cover of Heart's Barracuda. Also, when possible, pay attention to the screen behind them. It is very specific to the current song. It's not just some random stuff that plays on a loop.
This was their first performance of this in public at the time.
Nice! So the story so far: Dust to Dust introduces the story from the queen’s ghost at her funeral; Crimson Queen is when she declares her love for someone who doesn’t know she exists; in Ugh she starts to become obsessed. The song is called Ugh because they had trouble finishing it. Ugh, The One, and The Sacrifice came out of the effort.
Whenever Dany does the licks, Ale provides the main rhythm section of the song. Pau's drumbeats make the song more intense.
It is to be noted that this is the first live performance of these songs, as this was a show to launch their second album Queen Of The Murder Scene.
Every song reminds someone of something from the past. It's always a different band or singer. They just remind me of the music i used to listen to...and missed until they came along.
Interesting thing is, there are a lot of influences which you can catch a fleeting glimpse of but it is different from song to song. It is a classic hard rock sound but you can catch some punk, some pop, even some grunge elements spread around throughout their songs. Yet they are unique. I can't say they sound like anyone in particular, just that they sound familiar. Thanks!
Nice reaction to a great song! 👍. 🤘😎🤘👸👸👸
This is my 3rd favorite song from this album. It just rocks!

Whenever you get to P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C., you'll probably notice an actual tempo *change* about halfway through. Let's see if you catch it when it comes by!😁 👍 Great stuff Benny! 🤘😎🤘
