The process for turning the traction control off reminds me of trolling kids on halo 3 and telling them if they spin around 12 times on a certain map at a certain time of day while they have 64 bullets in their gun then they will unlock recon armor. (I know this is a niche thing and maybe nobody here was a part of that scene but I still felt the need to comment lol)
You actually can just hold the traction control button and the vsc button for 5 seconds and it turns the traction control off, instead of the pedal dance.
That doesn't completely turn it off unfortunately - its been proven to still have some traction control elements even when supposedly turned off. What they are doing is known as the pedal dance - its a special mode that disables all traction and vsc.
Thats the most ridiculous traction control I've ever seen. Why put a switch to turn it off when you can pump the brakes 12 times, do 5 cartwheels, hold the emergency brake down while saying the alphabet backwards....in Latin
Hi there, the process used to turn off traction control is correct but that's not the normal way. The process used here is called the pedal dance. If you want to turn off traction control normally just hold down the sport/VCS and traction button for 3 seconds and you will disable everything. The car has a traction button and VSC button. When used on their own they have individual levels of disabling traction. Do some reading and research.
Thank you Jack!! I bought a DeadCat for my external microphone. Got rid of a good chunk of the wind noise. I wish I had it earlier!! Queued videos don't have it yet! :(
Get one dude. Even with the lack of power it still goes surprisingly quick because it's so light. Just not on short trips as the speed doesn't properly kick in until about 6500-7000 RPM 😅 BUT when it kicks it KICKS! Also the sport mode helps.
@@saulespino2510 I looked around a bit. I think you're right. I saw an article that mentioned it last year, but it looks like it was a "leak" that turned out to be false.
Imagine building 450 horsepower into an 86, and letting it look like that. Wyd dawg. White paint with white rims? No Spoiler!?? This is just a sin dawg I wouldn’t even call it a sleeper.

I'm so confused by the traction control procedure. There's a Track button no? I have a US version so not sure what the difference is.
The track button doesn't turn it off all the way
You actually can just hold the traction control button and the vsc button for 5 seconds and it works.
Looks fun to drive ! My goal is only 350 whp (almost there)
Wait was the traction control unlock a joke or fr? I seriously can't tell 😂
no its for real 💀 the engineer who designed the traction control was definitely a gamer
Nice work Toyota, not, that's the dumbest traction control system ever. Nice car though, sounds mint
