Hi everyone! In today’s video I am vlogging my first day of my senior year of college! This was my first time being back on campus since March and obviously a lot has changed. For now, I have both in-person and Zoom classes so I'm overwhelmed but we'll get thru it. I also thought it would be interesting to show y'all what a small college looks like during a pandemic & what procedures are in place to keep us safe. "Should I go to grad school to avoid it for a couple more years" you say it's a joke but I'm in law school and would tell my friends if I wasn't going to law school I would've gotten a masters because the idea of not being in school is so weird to me

@@HannahElise realistically, if you love learning and there is a specific subject you want to give more of a focus too...do it. University classes are great and everytime law school gets hard I miss my university
We're just so used to being in school that it's hard for us to imagine life without it. I have three years of college left and im already starting to feel weird lol
it’s so weird that many people in america only do undergrad, in my country when you get into university you get into a bachelors and a masters at once
so basically everyone that goes to uni becomes a master

"Al dente" me, someone who chose hospitality as a subject who was also supposed to study kitchen terms every week: 👁👄👁
Hey I know this is a joke but in case anyone was wondering and needed this basically “al dente” means “to the teeth” and basically when someone says this it means that you eat the food your cooking (usually pasta) to make sure it’s cooked to the perfect spot. Hope this helps 😁

Hannah Elise idk, “al dente” in italian is a way of cooking pasta when it’s like a bit harder than normal.

Just had the first day of school as a senior in high school and I had anxiety the entire day but I was always thinking about what you said in a video. That things always figure their self out because they always do and it really calmed me down. You're the sister I wish I had. Thank you for the amazing energy and the love. ❤️
Girl, I feel ya on the eyebrows...I look in the mirror and i'm like "oh plucking that one would help" excepts it makes it worse so I have to keep plucking in order to fix my mistake and it just ends up being a catastrophe.
Except my problem is I legit do it w my fingers like just pull them out

@@HannahElise i do the exact same thing! i highly recommend "grande brow serum" its expensive but it helps grow your eyebrows out so much! after years of plucking my eyebrows have grown back so much
Hannah Elise hi! I had the same thing! I recently just got over it, I went camping for a day with my gramma and just constantly was distracting myself, and worked the next day. 2 days of not sitting still for a while, and I don’t do it anymore! I hope this helps a bit! I had Trichotillomania(obsessive eyebrow picking)

If you're reading this and you're sad about only having zoom classes, just remember that it could be worse because you could be like me and only have asynchronous classes so you don't even know what any of your classmates even look like let alone get to know them :) I'm really taking full advantage of school when we actually are able to go back and I'm gonna start talking to as many people in my classes as possible 😭

I totalllyyyy feel you. This semester is so weird and it gives me constant anxiety that I may be missing things. Since the responsibility is mostly on us (students), it makes me feel like I have to be even moreee on my shit 😭 I’m constantly checking syllabus’ making sure I’m not missing anything.
It’s stressful but we’ve got this! To all the students out there, stay positive and keep working!! 💕

I think the planning with literally every school, is a bit off, but it’s just weird to have an in-person class right after a zoom one, so you HAVE to be on campus.
