- We returned to one of our favorite river monster fishing spots for a day of fishing and cooking over a fire! I caught and cooked a cow for the first time and it was seriously one of the best catch and cooks I've ever done. We also lost a good number of fish....let me see...7 at least. So this should have been about a 45 minute long video of us pulling in fish after fish but I'm not sure we know what we're doing.

I grew up on the Missouri River in South Dakota. We had pallid and shovelnose sturgeon. The ones we caught were not as beefy as those.

Ace try to season your steak while it's cooking because salt make the stake to lose it's juice and cooking with a poker will cook the inside of the meat this too will cost you to lose some juice of the steak and it will cook it well- done next time you can try to cook it in a skillet with some butter each side cooks at an approximate 3 minutes I can assure you that you'll will get much better results.
I cooked steak over a fire in a cast iron skillet, with pig lard, last December. It was some of the best steak I've had. It was seared just a bit by the fire.

in my country we don’t grill any meat on the fire flame 🔥 we grill it on the charcoal fire it will get great smell!
