Welcome back to Japan. Tokyo is one of the greatest cities in the world. I love living here. A tip for those spending time here: use google maps for directions and trains. It will even tell you which car to get on and which station exit to take to get to your destination. The train stations can be overwhelming otherwise. Have a great time!
So excited for a month of you in Tokyo. (I think those are my favorite of your blogs thus far) Tokyo is just so amazing and so far ahead from a technology standpoint. I loved finally seeing you get hot coffee out of the vending machine. And the mom in me was yelling for you to "put on warmer clothes". Looking forward to your upcoming blogs. Stay safe and enjoy!
Hey Zane! Japan's rolling out the red carpet for your return! May your journey be as smooth as an anime plot twist. America's the Hollywood blockbuster, but in Japan, you're the star of your own anime adventure. Embrace the cool vibes of the Land of the Rising Sun. Safe travels! 🌸🎬✈️❤
Welcome back! it's really awesome that you respect the customs of the places you visit and are mindful of the people and the environment around you. I've been living in US for many years after leaving Japan, watching your videos makes me feel like I'm back home. 😉👍
A traditional Japanese breakfast consists of rice, grilled fish, miso soup, some pickled veggies. Some people enjoy natto (fermented soybeans) and tamagoyaki with their breakfast.
Yay you are back in Japan!! I watched your first video to Japan awhile back so I can't wait for more videos to come! It's very nice to see how you explain everything since its more real to watch! I'm heading to Japan in May so I hope the process for me is easy to understand!
Thank you for coming back to Japan. Just by watching this video, I felt that you are a very nice person and a wonderful and loving person who shows respect to Japan. It is even better for such a wonderful visitor. I want to take you to a Delicious ramen shop! I'm looking forward to your blog!
Your videos are giving me so much life! I am leaving for Tokyo in a few days and will be there for a month as well (my first time) to experience the sakura festival, Kyoto, Osaka and more! I hope I run into you in Tokyo!
Thank you for the overload of info on all the countries you have been too. Cant wait to do some traveling myself. I look forward to watching all your videos!! You are an adventurous guy. Ty
I watched your Japan videos before my trip in November and loved them, glad to see some more Japan videos! As soon as I left Japan I wanted to go back!!
Im so happy u are back in Japan!!! Ill be going again in May,exactly 6 months after i went there for the first time aswell! Love your vlogs like always,u genuinely seem happy to be back!
Thanks for the video. Heading to Japan for the first time in 2 days time and I was debating bringing my big jacket, I think I will bring it with me now 😆 Enjoy your trip.
Was in Tokyo a few weeks ago and spent some time in Roppongi, it's always fun seeing places you've been to on other peoples videos. Had a blast man, was hoping you'd make some Japan content! Whenever you're in Akihabara, there's a coffee spot that's nearby in the direction of Taito called Kielo Coffee. Highly recommend!
Zane. I found your channel a few months back when searching travel vlogs of Japan (One of my dream destinations). Let me just say I’m absolutely hooked and am a big fan of all your travel videos. Thank you for bringing us on your adventures around the world. Cheers!
Welcome back! I highly recommend visiting Nikko (日光), which is about 2 hours north of Tokyo. It is famous for its waterfall called "Kegon no taki" (97 meters high), Lake Chuzenji, and all other natural beauties. You can get there by train from Asakusa Station in Tokyo, and the railway company (Tobu) released last summer a new luxurious train called "SPACIA X", which has become popular. I also recommend Tokyo Skytree, the tallest free-standing tower in Japan. The closest train stations to the tower are Tokyo Skytree and Oshiage. (The SPACIA X train that goes to Nikko also departs from Tokyo Skytree station.)
There is a chain restaurant called Yoshinoya, I recommend you to try the meat bowl there. It would be better if you go for breakfast, it is filling and the prices are very affordable.
Welcome to Japan. I don't understand English, but I watched the video. Thank you for sending out the charm of Japan. The yen is high now, so I think it's easy for overseas people to travel. Please enjoy Japan a lot!
I can feel your excitement. I was just there last week for a vacation and I am missing Tokyo already. That city has a unique exciting vibe. Can't wait for my next trip there.
The red labels on the vending machines are hot, the blue cold. Loving your videos, we were in Japan in February, planning to go back, such a nice place to be.
I only found your channel about a month ago and watched your Japan, Korea and Singapore videos and immediately subscribed. I am obsessed with Japan, so am really excited that you’re back there for an entire month. Love seeing it all from your POV! 😊
My son just stayed in that area for 2 months, we live in Korea. He visited that mall often and said it was pretty nice. I am sure you have Shibuya Crossing on your itinerary. There is also a Tower Records not to far from where you're staying that he says is pretty cool. Great video Zane, been watching your videos for a while!
I love your vlogs so much! They’re always wholesome and it shows how appreciative you are about different cultures! I found you through your South Korea vlogs since I am traveling there in a week. Very excited! And your vlog definitely add to the excitement!
9:55 You are right about Roppongi. A local tour guide told me whilst passing through Roppongi that Roppongi use to be a heavily dominant area controlled by the Yakuza. Though the Yakuza no longer have any influence in the area, they are still present in Roppongi. Old style exterior buildings in Roppongi are still owned by the Yakuza and secondly at 8 o'clock in the mornings they frequent some of the high end cafe for breakfast, as evident by multiple luxury vehicles parked outside the cafe.
I was so impressed that you were courageous to jump into a new world when you came to Japan for the first time. Thanks for your video, I started new things like making foreign friends. Welcome back anyway 🎉
Nice video. I agree so much with you about Tokyo and I love the city and its people and culture. I'm looking forward to see what you do on this trip. I went to Tokyo for a week late last year and spent another three weeks traveling south. There is never a dull moment. Things can initially seem strange but after quick consideration everything just makes perfect sense. I actually booked my next trip to Japan before i left. Can I ask what booking sites you use to find accommodation?
I think I was in Japan the same time you were six months ago, kinda crazy lol. Also kinda funny that I’m going back in a few weeks while you’re there again. Have a great trip!
In upscale stores in Japan, presentation of the items for sale is extremely important, so it's more than likely in that store with the nearly $1400 jacket, the employee was probably "rearranging" the item into how it should be displayed. When a customer physically examines an item and places it back, store employees are normally required to make sure the merchandise is basically "perfectly' returned to the manner in which it should be on display for sale.
@@zanetravel You're welcome. Guess I should have mentioned that when I was in the Burberry store in Osaka looking for a sweater, I had to handle about nine or ten possible choices because of sizing. I did eventually find one that fit perfectly and purchased it, but I felt bad that an employee had to meticulously refold each one that I examined and place the price tag perfectly. I even apologized to her but she bowed very low, and said that it should not be my concern. Such is Japanese culture. And I wholeheartedly agree with you that the respect and kindness that the Japanese give to others, is one of the things that makes it so amazing about this country.

For those able to read Japanese, I would recommend the Yahoo transit app. For me it is much more reliable than Google‘s timetables.
