FYI - 05:42 Joshua is an American (LA, Cali) member of the KPop group Seventeen. 31:31 Those religious guys who approach you on the street and ask you to come visit their "Church" are usually Cult members. Don't go! They'll either take you to a nearby "church" or worse, take you on a bus to a remote place where you'll be "persuaded" to donate money, or you're on your own to find your way back. Generally, if anyone approaches you in SK, they're looking for something from you, because that's not the norm to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Hope this helps keep you out of uncomfortable to dangerous situations.
You must have arrived on the same day I left. Seoul is incredible, Koreans are awesome people. I am going to try to learn a little Hangul for next time I visit Korea.
I watched your first Korea series and I decided to go back to Korea myself. I was there last month (April) and I had a blast (also a solo traveler). I am so glad to see you back in Korea. It definitely brought back all the wonderful memories I’ve made being there.
Glad to know you read the comments! I am also happy to see you continue to grow! Your videos are very interesting, I hope you reach 100,000 subscribers soon! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😄👏
Welcome to Korea. Great places to hang out at night... Hongdae is for 18-25 year olds, Gangnam Station is for 25-35 year olds, Apgujeong-dong is for sophisticated entertainment, and Itaewon is a place worth visiting. Global entertainment for 25-40 year olds. During the day, we recommend visiting the Han River, Cheonggyecheon, Gyeongnidan-gil, Bukchon, a large shopping mall, visiting historic sites, and a palace tour. For reference, in Seoul, accommodation costs between $80 and $130 per night are good value for money. Food and transportation costs in Korea are not expensive, but lodging is a bit expensive, so I advise you to have a fruitful trip. I hope you have a pleasant trip to Korea.
Haha where you thought you could put your drink and go inside is actually an umbrella holder… I enjoyed watching your video. As a foreigner who has been in Korea for 13 years, it’s always fun to see new perspectives…
I hope you guys stay one night in Gyeongju(KTX), one night in Busan(KTX), two nights in Jeju(start from Busan and rent a car in Jeju), and two nights in Seoul. Double staying dates if you have enough time. Enjoy and thank you for visiting Korea.
Aww yay another Korea vlog!!! I remember seeing your other videos to prepare for my trip. I went last month by myself and because of my anxiety, it was hard to not be lazy and force myself to get out and experience a lot. I did have 2 friends I met through a K-Pop fan facebook group that were there but I was there for 2 weeks and they left when I had about 8 days left. And another day a few days before I left Korea I met up in Daegu with a Korean friend and his Russian wife and their baby! I know them because the husband was my Korean tutor I met in January of last year through Amazing Talker and I ended up becoming friends with both him and his wife. So yea. I met up with them one day. I think the next time I go back I want to experience more than I have before.
i totally know what u mean... i immigrated to canada in 1973 n lived here all my life but when i go to korea, i feel like i can do anything,,, its the energy.. respect n safety. i always thought it was just me but when caucasians mention the same feeling, i know the energy is there!
👋 Hi. I am so happy you did another video on Korea. I’m half Korean and when I was younger we would go there all the time. But what’s sad is I lost contact of all my family that live there, over 20 years ☹️ I haven’t a clue on how to find them. Now that I have my own family, we want to plan a trip there and show them their heritage. But I love love love Korea 😊 Safe travels ❤
Found your videos after i booked a seoul/tokyo trip in september. Literally just came back from that trip yesterday and im watching your videos again. I fell in love with those two cities and im already planning to visit again. Keep doing these videos, love them
You are one of the most pleasant travelers on RUclips! You’re so calm and polite. I’ve been watching some of your Korea videos and I just can’t seem to turn it off:)💜
Welcome back! Let me know you if you need a guide to show you around as a local. Also careful of anyone who stops you on the street about religion and invites you to anything. You said he was Christian but most likely he's part of a cult.
Have you ever been to Banpo Hangang Park? (Banpo Han-river Park) I recommend visiting this place after 7:30 PM. Enjoy the beautiful night view, Bridge fountain show, and take a walk. Many foreign tourists like this place.
Despite many attempts to hate and demonize Korea. Sputh korea is one of the best if not the best country to live in its safe beautiful highly developed educated people. Don’t believe the feminist propaganda and jealous foreigners
Welcome back! I've watched all your previous videos of Korea. Hope you enjoy Korea to the fullest!!! 😊 +Gong-gi is a very popular traditional Korean game (probably not as popular anymore) but there's NO Korean who doesn't know how to play the game lol +Just finished watching the entire video. So happy to see you enjoying the vibe of Hongdae ;)
@@zanetravel Yeah it's a traditional and casual game Korean students used to play with classmates in break times!! It's so fun to watch you enjoying Seoul from a tourist's perspective because we take every Korean stuff for granted!! (Cool arcades, bars, subways and everything lol) Seems like you're no longer here if you saw cherry blossoms but I do hope you enjoyed every minute in Korea. ;) Thanks for the great video!
lol. Zane is being recruited. There’s a reason they only seek out foreigners. Put your thinking cap on. Lovely vid. I miss Korea. I’ll be in Busan soon!
I think your South Korea videos are some of your most viewed videos yet?! Also where I found you months ago because I am going to Seoul this summer ^__^
My wife and daughter just went to Korea and stayed there for a month. We binge watched all your videos. They had great time in Korea. They just couldn’t do everything they wanted to do because of rain, but we really appreciate your videos. 😊
I'm so jelous! I lived in Seoul for 11 years of my and loved so many things about it. The first place I would go is Anguk station, and explore all the area, both north and south of that station....especially Insadong has wonderful art galleries and coffee shops. But the section of town to the north, between the palaces, has the most atmosphere in my opinion. Of course I would want to go to Itaewon and see what has changed since I was there more than 5 years ago. Make sure you go to Garosu-gil also...a great street to walk around.
Welcome back to Korea. It's been a long time since I sent "gong-gi". I remember playing with my friends a lot when I was young. It brings back memories. I hope you have a great time in Korea..
Hi Zane, I found your channel a couple of days back and subscribed since I really like your content. I also think that you're super honest and sometimes funny, like that one time when you thought Gordon Ramsay was Dave Ramsey.

It's like that all over Southeast and East Asia really. People are respectful there, nothing will happen to you anywhere.
Exactly I've been saying the exact same thing! Love my freedom when in Seoul.
