“Minecraft is from Sweden and Sweden is from Minecraft” reminds me of how Minecraft and Terraria recommend each other in splash texts
terara
@@grimmpotat6911 terara
The wither was inspired by some of terraria's boss mechanics "crafting" a boss summon.
@@geegox2459 slimes were also in terraria first
They're like brothers... only closer.
I did not expect Africa for the USA lol. It somehow fits perfectly!
10 countries: 9 songs, 1 country
@@jaypaint4855 Ah yes, Africa, the country.
Lol
@@jaypaint4855 2 countries including sweden but africa isnt a country so still 1 country
I thought it was Australia
As a German I'd like to clarify that it's actually about how ridiculous some reasons for war can be
Definitely! That is how we were taught about it in school.

sweden canonically didn't exist until minecraft
@@SheetMusicBoss what about Abba? The dynamite? The seatbelt? Volvo? 😤

0:07 Wait till you discover they also named a whole continent after this one
Now how about 10 countries, 10 military marches and historical soldier songs, here are my picks:
Poland: "Ciężkie Czasy Legionera" or "My Pierwsza Brygada"
UK: "British Grenadiers"
Germany: "Preussens Gloria"
France: "Chanson D'Ognion"
USA: "And The Army is Rolling Along" or "Battle Hymn of the Republic", or anything by Sousa, really.
Russia: "Katyusha" or "Farewell to Slavianka'"
Bosna: "Artiljerija"
Serbia: "Remove Kebab"
Austria-Hungary: "Radetzky March"
Japan: "Battotai"
Remove Kebab probably wouldn't be appropriate as it's a muslim hate song. I'd love to see it tho.
I'd love to hear the Austrio-Hungarian one, I heard the Imperial March from Star Wars was based off it
A classic one for America would be Yankee Doodle
@@jelle7 I mean, SMB already made their version, plus the song has another title, Serbia Strong.
@@jarekwrzosek2048 i thought it was "Serbia Stronk" because "Remove Kebab" sounds so Polandball-ish
3:03 and when I saw the hands phase through each other at the bottom, I realized that this whole time THE HANDS HAVE BEEN ANIMATED!!!

"It features the 'Russian' left hand" made me realize how similar it sounded to Rush E once it got fast enough. It also sounds like Korbelniki (i.e. Tetris, type A) when it's still relatively slow.
If you say Rush E in a surten way, it sounds like Russia.
Hol’ up, shooting stars is from Australia?!
My country just gets better and better!
Or does it. It seems to keep going downhill. Not only does the internet barely need Wifi n, we lack litterally everything "modern" AND on top of all that its expensive to go anywhere other than your neighbours house...
Hi, i'm from Poland as well!
Polska together strong
As a swede, I feel both honored and dishonored about the choice of "Sweden" It's such a nice song from my favourite game, but we also have other nice music like music from ABBA. Still happy that "Sweden" is from uh, sweden.
Well, I'm sorry to tell you that C418 actually is German :/
@@Bestrian Yes, I do know that, but the song is in a swedish game, and is made for that game, so I say it still counts
about bella ciao (from an Italian: me): we never thought "goodbye, beautiful" about the Germans. If you make attention to the text, you can clearly notice that "Bella ciao" ("goodbye beautiful") is referred to a woman/Italy (Italy is represented by a young Italian girl) and it says that because the partisan who said that knew he was going to die for her and so he said goodbye to the woman one last time.
In the final part of the song the partisan says that he died.
Sorry for the bad English and the long comment, and for who is reading: thank for reading all the comment, this is the end.
Oh and nice video and piano performance! You're admirable!
0:03 - Toto, _Africa_ (US of A) ((USA))
0:21 - Eurythmics, _Sweet Dreams_ (UK)
0:38 - Chopin, _Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2_ (Poland)
0:53 - Larcange, _Traditionell Musette_ (France)
1:12 - C418, _Sweden_ (Sweden)
1:40 - Bag Raiders, _Shooting Stars_ (Australia)
1:56 - Nena, _99 Luftballons_ (Germany)
2:16 - Dave Rodgers, _Deja Vu_ (Japan)
2:29 - Trad., _Bella Ciao_ (Italy)
2:44 - Liaronov, _Kalinka_ (Russia)
Underrated. Deserves credit.
Dave Rogers (not David Rodgers) is an Italian composer. While it was in Initial D, the rest of these use the artist(s)' origin as opposed to where the music became popular.
Some people in my country know Bella ciao because they lived or fought during ww2 and suffered and relate to the tragic tale it tells
I know it because my elementary school teacher took us to a hospital to sing it to old people every single year
And it's not the only song she completely butchered and hammered into our brains
"Minecraft is from Sweden and Sweden is from Minecraft"
*It's hard to argue with his assessment*
Fun fact : eurobeat is italian (a variant of italo-disco) but it was practically only known in japan despite the songs in Super Eurobeat (the main album series) being made by guys all over the world.
This genre has a really strange history.
2:30 "bella ciao" actually means beautiful associated to a single female(belli is the plural, and bello is the male one) , i assume that's the title becasue the song talks about a woman finding the invader(fascists) and asking to the partisans to take her away, to which he/they respond "bella ciao, bella ciao... Etc"
Remembering my Latin class
Esattamente così
John 3:16 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
And belle is the female plural ^^

KALINKA is very beautiful song , this is best song from RUSSIA)))
As a German I was very surprised when the only song I didn't recognize was the one from Germany xD... i guess we don't have the most memorable music, as the most recent Eurovision would indicate

C418 is a German musician, so you've got two songs from Germany on here, and none from Sweden, unless one of the other musicians happen to be Swedish.
Yeah, maybe they should’ve played Nemesis of Arch Enemy or something.
Also none from Japan, and two from Italy!
Should i r/wooosh you?
The name of the track IS "Sweeden"
@@huntermcintosh8173 You're saying David Rodgers is/was from Italy?
Why does this somehow fit several time periods, countries, styles, and genres in 3 minutes? Absolutely genius, this is insane. (thanks for including names of songs btw, you helped me find a song that was stuck in my head for the last 2 years)
Also suggestion: The Stars & Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa Arranged for 8 hands by Mack Wilberg
It's a amazing arrangement and I can say that since I've heard it twice not including hearing people practicing it.

I love how they tried to write "traditional musette" in french but failed so hard
Actually Chopin is both Polish and French, and it is quite clear in his work as both influences are there
Nah he is polish i know that becose im polish and he born in poland so yea

Wow, all of these pieces are so nice, and I recognised most of them! Would love to see this with more countries too...
But anyway, would you please consider trying out some of Epic Mountain’s pieces for the Kurzgesagt channel? One I’d suggest is Dyson Sphere, but everyone has their preferences (and they’re all really good!). Thanks! :D
