The song is about what a great dancer the girl is, and names the dances - Watusi, The Twist, The Mashed Potato, and the dancers were performing them

Unfortunately, they dubbed the recording over the live performance. The live vocals with the girls screaming is far superior...as usual. So look for the video that says "Shindig Pilot.....". Just love them live or recorded but live is where they shined.
