MAGNIFICENT! STUNNING! GLORIOUS! Adam, you have such a pleasing personality. That and your intimate affection for the natural landscape ... how you "present" it to us, make the watching of your video creations alluring, intriguing and irresistible! Thank you good Sir for making the HUGE effort to bring us into your beautiful and amazing world of WILD and RUGGED LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY!
Wow Adam, you are really getting good flying that drone. The opening sequence is fabulous, particularly flying under the fallen tree - whew! Oh yeah, like the waterfall pictures too! (lol)
The backwards flight along the creek is a masterpiece of footage. It‘s so beautiful. Wish i could grab my gear and go there right now. Keep up your amazing work. It‘s always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Echo the others about the drone footage at the start. Absolutely outstanding! And the rest of the video was too. You live in a magical place Adam and you are the prime wizard of images and story telling. Respect!
Another awesome video. I was waiting and was not disappointed. Thank you! The images around 11:30 were great. That tree root looks like something from a Sci-Fi movie. An alien maybe. Are you a Sci_Fi fan? I get the feeling you are (joke). The one thing that impresses me the most is how you make so much clutter look so spacious and simple. I love the west coast but do find it rather busy at times (unless you're pointing your camera at the sea) Thanks for the inspiration Adam. Another great vid.
I've been binge-watching your videos Adam. I Don't comment much but I certainly like all of them and click appropriately. This one blew me away with the tree dam concept. Lovely images. Genius, so that makes you a Genie by definition mate. Cheers. Take Care.
I just came back from my first visit to Strathcona Provincial Park and my first time to Buttle Lake. I stayed at the Buttle Lake Campground; what a fabulous location to photograph! I visited and photographed several of the waterfall in the park including one of the Karst Creek falls; it is funny how each photographer sees scenes differently. It was because of your previous video on Myra falls that I went to Strathcona Park and will continue to re-visit such a magnificent place.
Adam. Your work is art. The waterfall drone footage is incredible. I'm hoping you finish your cabin work soon. So you can provide more great vlogs like this. Your photography is a artform.
Great, thanks, Stephen! I'm off on a couple of trips so the video will not be as regular for a few weeks but hopefully after the summer back to normal.
I really enjoy your style. I find more often that I am drawn to deep darkish scenes, moving water and no sky. I almost always end up in the water to get my own shots. I always pack in lightweight water shoes if it is a long hike and I don't want to do it in heavy rubber boots. The water is cold but I find I can roll up my pants, slip on the water shoes and get my shots. That approach lets me hike in and out in normal hiking shoes. Great video as always.
Speaking personally, I appreciate your videos how ever often you can manage to get them out. I might not do videography but I can imagine how time consuming they are and what I massive part of your life a RUclips channel can become. A great video to come back with, and every image was stunning, I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
That drone footage.... crazy, now I have to go out and try myself again. Thanks for all the videos you put out here, they are a great inspiration and gives me goals to achieve. Looking forward to the next one 😃
As usual, well-done video! Good to have you back. Your images of waterfalls are particularly inspiring. My favorites are the first composition and the 2 image pano. After looking at these, think I'll head out tomorrow and visit a falls here in NC. Thanks for inspiring us with your professionalism and skills.
Hello Adam, a very highly creative tutorial loved how the drone retreated back to you. I believe that you may have produced your Orton Effect which I admire. That dead wood around the falls was very photogenic. On some of your panoramic's, I thought, would have also made some amazing monochromes. As always thank you for sharing your skills with us ...
When you used the phrase 'order out of chaos' that's exactly what I had been thinking. You find and execute such marvellous shots where I see only jumble. I called my wife in the see that last set of photos that impressed me so much. Thanks for posting.
Wow awesome. The opening drone shot at 0:50 is so unique, creative and fun to watch, looped it 3 or 4 times. You live in the second most beautiful place on earth (after nz :D)
Another good one Adam... " Finding order out of chaos " , indeed you did sir! The drone work was superb... Someone below forgave you for being gone for so long, about a week I think. lol... Inspirational stuff, me thinks... Bill Farr... :-)
Excuses, excuses and more excuses LOL Was rough waiting a whole week and no video coming in. Beautiful drone footage and some awesome pictures. I always see faces and creatures when I'm shooting outdoors either in the woods, clouds etc or I see them later in one of my photo's. I do see it here again at 10.15 A large salamander with a long neck looking up the stream and a crooked tail. Great job You and Mads Peter Iversen are my two favorites Clemens
Wow Adam... the introvideo... so proffesional! I think NG would love to have them. I learn a lot of your perspective to photograph waterfalls. You realy can create order out out of chaos! Loved the photo’s
Great images Adam! I really appreciate the way you explain your compositions and that you include the exposure info for each image. Once again, your combination of drone footage, still images, music, commentary and editing puts you at the top of my list for most enjoyable vloggers. Good luck with the cottage renovation. Cheers!
DUDE....I didn't even make it 2 minutes before I had to make a comment. That opening segment was EPIC!! Very well done! Now on to the rest of the video haha.
Love it Adam! I especially appreciate the way you mixed the moving water and still water in that second detail shot. It really works well and looks very realistic as an effect. I leave a week from Tuesday for Seattle. I'm looking forward to photographing Olympic and the Northern Cascades. Hopefully I will get a few portfolio shots.
Absolutely awesome video! The drone footage over that river around 1:30 was expertly done. The shot at 6:52 is outstanding! A really enjoyable watch Adam 👍
Another great video, I liked the the last two locations the best 👍, here in Spain this time of year is not good for photos as the temperature is getting close to 40 degrees and the heat haze is bad, think I should go back to Southampton uk for a break!!!
Hang on ... you didn't want to spend a few hours in a donut shop ... Adam, you are dead to me now :) Loved the intro, and indeed all of the drone footage, really gave a beautiful feeling of being there ... Some beautiful images also, your processing style really standing out and recognisable as "an Adam Gibbs" .... the more I see of Vancouver Island and BC in general the more I know it's a place I need to bimble around in the not too distant future ..
I don't want to ruin my womanly figure, so easy at my age, haha. Cheers, Nigel! You're always welcome to visit Canada we have lots of room for you to wander.
Yet another fantastic video from you Adam, well done mate, I love the imagery that you managed to capture. I am somewhat curious as to your choices of ISO, (400 & 200) given that the D850 has a native ISO of 64. I can only assume that you didn't want to turn the waterfall to become silky smooth with long shutter speeds. But, like I have said before, love your work mate, keep them coming.
thank, Darren! You're right, iso represents the shutter speed that I wanted, lower iso would have given me to slow a shutter speed and not enough depth with the corresponding f/stop
Great Contents with lovely Images Adam! Your last 2 Images was what I would call great 'Fine Art', but all Images in this video was so damn beautiful. Great to see you again, I'm been away from puter for some while 😉
The 2nd to last is my favourite shot Adam, very well balanced. Have you a pilots license as your drone flying is excellent 👍Perhaps a video in the future on drone flying techniques unless you’ve done one already. Lovely work
Awesome beauty there Adam. I thoroughly enjoyed the dead fall shots in the water. Well, all the best with the renovation. I'm sure it's going to work out great. Do you know what a super red moon rose over the Black Mountains in Wales the other night. Your gear and expertise would have captured it amazingly. Nature sure is an inspiration. Take care. Mark
Excelent video and photographs like always. You are the best vlogger ( Thomas Heaton is a little baby) I named him because he have over 200.000 subscribers and it doesn't have content like you. You are a great photographer too. All the best and I didn't see an image with death log over the creek. I hope you made one 😉
Now, now, I really enjoy Thomas videos, just a different style and to be honest was one of the main reasons why I decided to start my own Channel as I am sure why so many have started up their own channels. I appreciate your feedback though, much appreciated. Unfortunately no I didn't take any shots of the log, I had a hard time finding a composition, perhaps next time. Thanks, Cosmin!
You're right Adam. He have a different style, anyway I like the way you edit your videos and how you explain behind the scenes/images. Is so inspirational and your videos make me want to go more outside and photograph waterfalls and forests, subjects that I didn't pay so much attention until now 🙂 so thank you for this 🙏
Great drone footage, love your compositions. Noticed you used different iso's in the shots is this to compensate the light with the higher shutter speed to reduce the movement of the leaves and blend it with the shot with the low shutter speed?
Some of it was to maintain the shutter speed that I wanted for the moving water. Some of the higher iso was to stop the motion of the water and combine them in PS thanks, Aad!
Better quality than quantity :) It doesn´t matter when you upload a new video. At some channels you recognize if they only upload a video because to have uploaded once or twice a week. I prefer quality. Keep up the good work Cheers Jürgen PS: Good drone work!
12:02 so much life breathed into that one a,d log shapes are tricky comp trajectories. Hello, Adam your hearts joy seems so chilled & grounded this round, its GOOD to hear you relaxed ;) How are you finding the sharpness/details rendering with the 16-35 on th D850 , is it singing better than on the D810 (I know its gear Q but its really important I can see details for my art purposes..) ps. did you ditch your 24-70 ?
The D850 is definitely the great camera. I like the 16-35mm never had a 24-70mm but do have the 24-120mm that I like very much. although it is not the sharpest lens on the block. I had a D800 before this camera and it was a very good camera as well.
I'm a little late to this video, not sure if you'll see this comment, but wanted to ask about your image blending. Am I right in in thinking you blended some of the water falls so you had both long exposure smooth water and a shorter shutter speed for water texture? Seemed like the water in some of the shots had both frozen details and texture as well as a lot of smooth motion blur. If so would love to see you do an edit like that. Great video as usual, thanks.
A week without a video from Adam Gibbs, I was starting to have withdrawal symptoms LOL!!!😆😆 Wow what an amazing location for the first image. I could spend all day photographing that scene!! and the next day photographing the other scene!! Hey Adam, I don't suppose you are looking for a photographers assistant by any chance, I need an excuse to move to Canada ASAP. I work for a reasonable rate and am honest, hardworking and a great team player LOL!!!!😆😆😆😆 Awesome video and awesome images as well. That place is just magical!!! Good luck with the renovations!!
The thought did cross our mind. It was either knock it down or fix it up, we decided to fix it up. I call it a cottage but it's actually a small house. It's coming together nicely
Hi Adam, I heard drones are not allowed in parks of Canada.. I’m really inspired by your drone footage. Can you please advise how you got permission to fly drone.. ? I’m in dilemma to buy one..
Drones are not allowed in National Parks, even though their latest ad is about 80% drone footage, provincial parks seem to act on an individual basis, for now anyway. I never ask for permission since the answer will usually be no. I did have problems at one park who stated that it was against the law since and had something to do with the privacy act which is a load of cobblers wax. My advice, don't ask for permission if asked to stop flying politely land and move on. Fly conservatively, preferably without people around and abide by the current Canadian rules even if they are somewhat convoluted.
You're welcome, it's great to have an audience that appreciates photography and nature.as much as I do.
That opening drone sequence is so beautiful.
Wow Adam, you are really getting good flying that drone. The opening sequence is fabulous, particularly flying under the fallen tree - whew! Oh yeah, like the waterfall pictures too! (lol)
Yeah, I think I enjoyed the drone footage more than the images, lol. Sometimes happens, thanks!
Wow! The intro was simply amazing Adam! You really know how to balance shadows and lighter areas in your photos! Thank you for sharing!
The backwards flight along the creek is a masterpiece of footage. It‘s so beautiful. Wish i could grab my gear and go there right now. Keep up your amazing work. It‘s always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Thanks, Michael!
Again, another great video! Thanks for making us dream and learn at the same time. Great pictures, awesome music!
Cheers, Guy!
Echo the others about the drone footage at the start. Absolutely outstanding! And the rest of the video was too. You live in a magical place Adam and you are the prime wizard of images and story telling. Respect!
Thanks, David!
Another awesome video. I was waiting and was not disappointed. Thank you! The images around 11:30 were great. That tree root looks like something from a Sci-Fi movie. An alien maybe. I am a sci-fi fan aly=though the thought of aliens never crossed my mind at the time lol. cheers!
Waterfalls my favorites thanks for taking us along Sir, Adam Gibbs …
That opening video is sublime Adam, well worth waiting for. I’ve now forgiven you for making us wait for this one 😉
Haha, good to know
Incredibly skilled drone flying for that opening sequence. It gave a fantastic sense of place to set up the vlog. A thoroughly enjoyable watch!
Thanks, Simon!
That intro drone shot was incredible...
Thanks, Reid!
I've been binge-watching your videos Adam. I Don't comment much but I certainly like all of them and click appropriately.
This one blew me away with the tree dam concept.
Lovely images. Genius, so that makes you a Genie by definition mate. Cheers. Take Care.

Good to hear Mary. Not sure if you're into hiking but the hike up in the alpine is gorgeous, I am hoping to go up at some point this year.
Outstanding drone work on the waterfalls!
Thanks!

Great photo's and I'm very impressed with your drone flying!!!!!
Thanks! haven't crashed it too much, lol.
Superb drone footage. Love your image processing. Always look forward to your vids. Thank you.
Thanks, Val!
Gorgeous place and gorgeous photos!
Thank you!
Amazing shots Adam. Making order in the chaos but they still feel wild and untamed. Thanks for sharing that with us!
Thanks, Sacha!
Well, epic drone footage, especially that long shot... great flying.
Cheers, Wes!
Excellent work with the drone flying down the creek. I can't imagine you had full visual on the thing the whole way. Very well done!
Was a bit tricky going under the log thats for sure, lol.
Fantastic Adam . My favourite was the the image with the water split at the bottom. Great work as always 👍🏻
Thanks, Gary! I think that's my favourite from the day as well, just a bit simpler to look at. Cheers!
Well that was awesome!
Gorgeous drone footage, Adam!
Great stuff, Adam...thanks for sharing! Excited to see the others still to come!
That drone footage.... crazy, now I have to go out and try myself again. Thanks for all the videos you put out here, they are a great inspiration and gives me goals to achieve. Looking forward to the next one 😃
Thank you Karl!
Another group of wonderful waterfall shots. And Adam you have out done yourself with your drone footage. Just superb.
Yeah, I really like the drone footage as well took a few passes to get it right, Thanks!
Thanks, Martin! now get out there and make some images, lol.
Thanks, Allan! I used the Orton effect on a couple of the shots but very conservatively on these.
That was great Adam! TY!!! :) Shocked to see the volume of water still flowing this late in June. Your intro with your Mavic is the best yet!!!
Good flow of water indeed, I was surprised as well. Cheers!
When you used the phrase 'order out of chaos' that's exactly what I had been thinking. You find and execute such marvellous shots where I see only jumble. I called my wife in the see that last set of photos that impressed me so much. Thanks for posting.
Whats the phrase KISS? Keep it simple stupid, lol. I try, thanks, John!
That intro video is outrageous!
Thanks for sharing :-) amazing work.
Great video as always. The opening drone footage was very nice.
Adam, that intro is pure gold!
Thanks!
I always look forward to the way your videos start out.Great production.Keep having fun...
Fantastic intro footage. You can fly! Thanks, once again.
Occasionally, lol. Thanks, Richard!
Wow that opening drone footage was awesome, don't know how you do it. Your images are very beautiful. I really enjoyed watching thanks.
Thanks, Bruce!
Ditto previous comment. What an opener! Great camera work.
Thank you, Rob!
Fantastic video Adam, a true inspiration!
Thanks, Dusty!
Wow awesome. The opening drone shot at 0:50 is so unique, creative and fun to watch, looped it 3 or 4 times. You live in the second most beautiful place on earth (after nz :D)
NZ and BC look quite similar in many ways, although I've never had a visit. Thanks, Jon!
A very nice video, congrats!!
Wonderful images and I learned lots (as always). Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Gord!
Stay safe! loved that 2 shot pano.
Thanks, Rich!
Always a pleasure Adam, to watch your videos. Good luck with the renovations!
Cheers, Trevor! Renos are moving along, slowly.
Beautiful place and a nice edit on the first image. The second pano was my favorite of the images. Thanks for sharing
Great! thanks, Tony!
Another good one Adam... " Finding order out of chaos " , indeed you did sir! The drone work was superb... Someone below forgave you for being gone for so long, about a week I think. lol...
Inspirational stuff, me thinks...
Bill Farr... :-)
Thanks, Bill!
Excuses, excuses and more excuses LOL Was rough waiting a whole week and no video coming in.
Beautiful drone footage and some awesome pictures.
I always see faces and creatures when I'm shooting outdoors either in the woods, clouds etc or I see them later in one of my photo's.
I do see it here again at 10.15
A large salamander with a long neck looking up the stream and a crooked tail.
Great job
You and Mads Peter Iversen are my two favorites
Clemens
I know, I know it's easier to make excuses than videos, haha. Good imagination there Clemens, Cheers!
Good to have you back again! Great Video and a fantastic spot. Greetings from Black Forest, Germany.
Thanks, Thomas!
Epic intro and your work is very inspiring. Thank you for the effort!!
Thanks, Alistair!
Some awesome shots Adam.
Impressive drone footage at the start of the video. Really like how you flew under the log. Very enjoyable video as always.
Thanks, Guy!
Watch out for that Devils Club I seen in the third image. Nasty stuff. Very good drone work in the beginning too. Cheers!
It is nasty stuff especially when you grab it by accident.
Wow Adam... the introvideo... so proffesional! I think NG would love to have them. I learn a lot of your perspective to photograph waterfalls. You realy can create order out out of chaos! Loved the photo’s
Thanks!
brilliant vlog adam, breathtaking images and awesome drone footage especially at the beginning
Cheers, Jim!
Great images Adam! I really appreciate the way you explain your compositions and that you include the exposure info for each image. Once again, your combination of drone footage, still images, music, commentary and editing puts you at the top of my list for most enjoyable vloggers. Good luck with the cottage renovation. Cheers!
Thanks, John! the cottage is coming along, slowly, lol.
DUDE....I didn't even make it 2 minutes before I had to make a comment. That opening segment was EPIC!! Very well done! Now on to the rest of the video haha.
Haha, a bit of a let down after the opener, lol. Cheers!
Naah I don't think so. It still was informative, it's just that the opening was killer.
I guess I'm going to have to go out and take my own photos while we wait for your videos.
Good idea, haha.
Your lead-in drone footage was quite impressive. You are an expert pilot.
Only when I don't crash, haha. Thanks, Doug!
Have an awesome time, love the Olympics.
Great images Adam and the long drone shot at the beginning is genius. :)
Thanks, Chris!
Absolutely awesome video! The drone footage over that river around 1:30 was expertly done. The shot at 6:52 is outstanding! A really enjoyable watch Adam 👍
Thanks a lot, James. really appreciate the positive feedback
This is almost getting ridiculous now ;-)... that opening sequence was á la BBC.
Truly mesmerizing to me.
Great work! Thanks!
Thanks, Ro! I was very happy with the drone footage, took a few tries though, lol.
Adam Gibbs Probably would have cost mé a few drones ;-)
Another great video, I liked the the last two locations the best 👍, here in Spain this time of year is not good for photos as the temperature is getting close to 40 degrees and the heat haze is bad, think I should go back to Southampton uk for a break!!!
Summer here is not generally great for photography either although we do have lots of mountains so the conditions up high can be good. Thanks, Paul!
Your drone footage at the beginning was suburb Adam 👍 Great shots on the waterfalls and I like the way you framed them, well done.
Thanks, Richard!
Hang on ... you didn't want to spend a few hours in a donut shop ...

Nice stuff Adam. Can’t get enough of your waterfalls! :)
That's good because we have lots, lol.
Nice video, particularly i like the drone shots. please add more drone shots because i'm planning to buy a phantom-4 pro
I'll try, haha. Thank you, Anoop!

Indeed!
Excelent video and photographs like always. You are the best vlogger ( Thomas Heaton is a little baby) I named him because he have over 200.000 subscribers and it doesn't have content like you. Is so inspirational and your videos make me want to go more outside and photograph waterfalls and forests, subjects that I didn't pay so much attention until now 🙂 so thank you for this 🙏
Beautiful work as usual, i saw some amazing white trees with green shrubs in the opening video, i kinda wonder do you plan to capture that?
Yes at some point I'll go back and photograph the white trees (red alder) it was raining so I kinda gave up on that spot.
Great video. Beautiful shots. Any trips south to Washington?
not in the near future, perhaps late fall?
Great drone footage, love your compositions. Noticed you used different iso's in the shots is this to compensate the light with the higher shutter speed to reduce the movement of the leaves and blend it with the shot with the low shutter speed?
Some of it was to maintain the shutter speed that I wanted for the moving water. Some of the higher iso was to stop the motion of the water and combine them in PS thanks, Aad!
Wow... Awesome place that is... Again great work Adam.. Which camera you used?
My current DSLR is a Nikon D850, vlogging camera is a Sony RX100 MkV, thanks!
Better quality than quantity :) It doesn´t matter when you upload a new video. At some channels you recognize if they only upload a video because to have uploaded once or twice a week. I prefer quality. Keep up the good work

Awesome Adam as always! Thanks so much!
My pleasure, thanks!
Yes! correct all the way. I did cover the process in another video here ruclips.net/video/GWMr7iCdGCU/видео.html thanks, David!
You'd have to fight though me and dozen others first I'm sure! ;)
yep, real true and I live nearby...
Haha, didn't realize that I had that effect on people, lol. Cheers, Tim!
this intro, where does it stop? wonderful! and i’m only at 1.53👻👻👻
i forgot to mention, burn the shack, please....(it takes ages)
The thought did cross our mind. It was either knock it down or fix it up, we decided to fix it up. I call it a cottage but it's actually a small house. It's coming together nicely
What about trying it in the portrait format, it would reduce the dead rock on the right and give you more height behind the waterfall.
Yes you're absolutely right, never even crossed my mind, go figure, lol.
Adam Gibbs thank you very much..
