The loose leaves are so you can stamp them in solid color instead of the watercolor look, and so you can stamp some solid with some watercolor.

I generally use them in the order, outline stamp in black, solid stamps lightest colour and finally detail stamps in a darker colour , going from light to dark with the solid and detail stamps.

Marion, you made me chuckle. It was so nice to be able to see someone else have issues with their projects. Happens to me all the time. I have this set and it is really beautiful when all goes right. I do love it when you go off on a tangent and it doesn't work as that's what I do all the time, also I know exactly what you mean about not using things to their full potential as when I first saw you use the SH stamping foam I loved it so much I bought some...........have I used it? have I heck 😂 but glad I've seen you use it again as it's been a great reminder even though no chance of doing so for a while, my moving has been delayed a few weeks and with packing I'm not able to have much of a play with anything, only just finished making a keepsake for my new Great Granddaughter who will be 3 weeks old this weekend, anyway enough of that I love the cards you have made those leaves look fabulous, very autumnal which will be here before we know it.

Time 21.13 - if you cut the die out several times, layer it then use the stamping foam to get your image; don’t know as yet if you’ve thought of this as I’m typing whilst watching this bit 😁😊

p.s. - I cannot line up layering stamps if my life depended on it - back in the day, I bought the first roses layering set, stamps and dies, from altenew. God love me, I HAVE tried, but I can't get them right 😔😂 Gave up on them years ago.

Wonderful video as always Marion, pure joy and some giggles along the way. Absolutely love the final cards. Do you think the solid single leaf stamps were to make solid colored leaves inside of the outline stamp? It would add some versatility, but I love the almost skeleton leaves the best. Does that make sense?

You crack me up. Thank you for revisiting this leaf set. Could you possibly suggest three distress oxide inks that would be appropriate for an autumn card?
Thank you, I’m going to be honest, I haven’t got a lot of distress oxides and I never thought that these colours would come out like this, so maybe if you look at these ones and use something similar in oxides it may come out the same, although saying that I think oxides are more opaque and the CP ones are translucent, I think I have that the right way round 🥴🥴🥴 so translucent with let the colours show through each other. 🥰🥰🥰
You could’ve taken the background and cut down the foam print and put it on top and splatter with some gold, white, or silver.

Could emboss with some transparent colored powder
I did use a clear gloss embossing powder, if that’s what you mean 🤔🤔🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@marionemberson Some are colored so when put over other inked colors you get more variation. Since the leaf has your nice colors you would get even more

Aber geht das gut mit Versamark auftragen😶 sieht etwas wackelig aus🙄😶und Lach ich habe schon 3 Stempelmatten nur keine zum drehen und die Grösse Liebe ich Total❤❤❤ meine Karten sind meist immer grösser😊und die zum drehen hat echt eine schöne grösse❤ich Liebe es aber mit Embosing Farben zu spielen darum dachte ich ich frage Dich zuerst da du damit schon gearbeitet hast😊

Thank you Ramona, if you mean the stamp and spin tool, I think it’s fabulous !! It’s very sturdy and quite a thick plastic, I love that you can use embossing ink and do it quite quickly all in one go and then get the powder on. I hope that helps 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I ordered the Stamp and Stencil and Spin add on after watching your video a few weeks ago. (You’re not a bad influence, I just have a problem😂) I also got the leaf stamp (and the poppies and the butterflies 😬) It arrived today, so looking forward to spending my day off tomorrow playing. I’m going on a no buy July, I was given a very generous amount of money for my birthday and it’s all gone on card making ( money well spent, I say!)…the card with the pastel pearls was stunning, though…🫣
You mentioned the Sizzix scoring board thingy recently. I’ve got it, and making envelopes are easy peasy! I’ve even done a couple of box envelopes. Sizzix does make great stuff!

At this price point ..i am really considering getting this stamping tool - i mean i have everyone there is - Stamperatus/ MISTI/STAMPWHEEL/TIM HOLTZ STAMP PLATFORM AND SEVERAL FISCARS - LIKE do i really need another one NO - BUT the crafter in me says this will change my whole STAMP LIFE - and while i love the each for different rreason - i thing for 39.99 i should have this tool in my stash - well goodbye 39.99 - oh yea .. sorry CARDS ARE BEAUTIFUL-I will definitely have to do your acetate hack i saw in one of videos when i get it
You are aware that that price is only for the spinning top? You need to buy the plartform seperatly and that one costs 75 dollar.
It is great and I have the stamp wheel and Misti’s (both sizes) and like you said I like them for different reasons. You do have to have the base for the spin tool though, so not cheap, but it is great 😂😂🥰🥰🥰

Hi Sharon, thanks for your kind comment. I’m using the waffle flower blending brush, you can use any blending brush or sponge, if it’s larger just dab it so it doesn’t rub it off, I hope that helps 🥰🥰🥰
