I always liked Freddie Prince Jr. but now I like him even more. He is so chill he definitely would be cool to hang out and get a drink with. Kristian great interview!
If you went back and told me in my teenage years that I would end up fanboying with "heart throb" Freddie Prinze Jr. over MMA and Star Wars I would call you a liar. It's amazing what some perspective can give you. Great interview!
Freddie may not have said a word in Kanans death scene, but the years of great work he did did prior made it hit so hard. And the years of hard work everybody involved everybody on Rebels did. I dont think I've seen another series that had such a emotional payoff as that scene. Great interview, was a fun watch with lots of cool stories and good thoughts on life.
Man, I love Freddie Prinze Jr. - I was looking forward to this one and it did not let me down. Loved the Andy Kaufman story, never heard that before and I’m a big Andy fan. Awesome to have an hour and a half of this gold.
This was an amazing interview, definitely one of my favorites. Kristian is really good at this, I don't know if its because many times he's familiar with these people but his interview style is so chill and laid back I like it.
I never knew this about Freddie Prince Jr. I'm so glad that Kristian does these interviews because we would not have known this about him unless we had to do a deep research on him. But we wouldn't even looked.
Would've asked more about Kanan, but what a great conversation! Freddie's a pleasure to listen to. He has a lot of wisdom and is a great father as well. Thanks Kristian for making me hooked to the screen for one and a half hours!
This has been one of my favorite podcasts so far. I'm a RUclips listener through and through but I have to say I've enjoyed every 1 on 1 I've heard so far. Kristian has such an ease talking to all these amazing guests. As a fan of Freddy Prince Jr for years I'm blown away by all the things I didn't know about him. From his personal stories to his time working for the WWE everything he had to say was entertaining and well spoken, cuss words aside. I'd love to see him in more movies but I admire the hell out of his commitment to being a full time dad.
Manny I'm sure you know the story of his own father, if not look Freddie Prinze up on RUclips and check out his stand-up act and his show Chico and the Man which was a number one hit on TV back in the day. His dad died very young, in his twenties, and everybody worried about Freddie Prinze jr. And he seems to have turned out to be the exact opposite of his dad, who was a defender of the small guy who was fighting against the man and representing the average Joe, and Freddie Prinze jr. Grows up and turns into exactly what his father fought against. Rich Elite Hollywood liberals. Kind of sad really.
Love Freddy prince Jr. Grew up with all his movies my favorite is she's the one. Guy is chill and relatable compared to most people who were big stars in the 90s, didn't know he done all that he mentioned in his career, Great interview!!!
Better than an interview, this was an absorbing conversation. Looking forward to more like this. Like the comment made earlier in this feed, consider this another request to please interview Sam Witwer.
So crazy man. Freddie went to Sandia Prep which is literally across the street from my grandparents. I see it every week. I thinking Albuquerque is a lot better now.. I've never seen any violence and I've been here my entire life.
This was pretty damn cool. Not even a huge fan Freddie (my age, not his quality of work) and this was damn good. You are killing it Kristian, seriously. Plus Gegghead just caught a new subscriber..... between this interview and the little i've seen of him on Collider, damn.
Hey Krisitian this is awesome!!!! All your episodes rock, but i have to give it to you. This episode is my favorite. Freddie came off so human and real. Kudos on the podcast and please keep it going!
Freddie, basically: “ok, this might be a stretch, but do you remember that game, literally the game EVERY person in the past 30 years is familiar with, even if they’ve never played another game in their life, because it was basically a REQUIREMENT at school that you play it, which is why its used so often in stand up and comedy in general, due to how relatable it is because, love it or hate it, literally like...every single person under 40 has played it...Oregon Trail?” Kristian: “Nope...I am basically that one and only person.” :) Just Breaking your balls, Kristian. Another FANTASTIC interview. I meant to only watch a few minutes, but here I am at the end, having watched the entire thing lol. You are one of the best interviewers in the business, and you can tell because your friendship with Freddie is apparent, because this was basically a 100% delightful business but bullshitting session for an hour and a half :)
This is a great Series. Long Form Conversation Interviews are Right up my alley. Thanks for pointing us towards GEGGHEAD as well. Freddie seems like a very chill and down to earth guy, looking forward to checking his stuff out.
Another great interview and I love how you and your guest relate as family and parenting. You really never know a person until you talk to them. In most interviews it is all the same shit that everyone knows that you can see on Wikipedia but that is too cliche but with this 1x1 it is very personal and enjoyable thank Kristian
08 full half of a year? Is that how you live your life is that 6 months later you expect everything you've done to just be completely forgiven even if you've not done anything to make it better? What kind of dream world do you live in? That reminds me of one of Hillary's political lackeys on TV being questioned about Benghazi and he literally said "that was, like, 2 years ago Dude!" Like it didn't matter anymore because some time had passed, but people died and it hadn't been that long. This clearly is a different example but the same concept, okay so few months have passed is that make what he says any different? Has he done anything to make up for what he's done? Or does he seem like the same arrogant jerk that wouldn't change his opinion regardless of how many people he's hurt and how many people he is just added to the opposing side? Who gets in these Twitter Wars with fans on the internet anyway? Seems very immature like a teenage girl. And yes I mean both sides, but he was on one of those sides so he's got the same level of immaturity and Broad brush mentality that's the people he was criticizing have.
He didn't just give his opinion, he really in an immature and nasty way insulted broad swaths of the general fan fanship, not just the hardcore fans, and it really was obnoxious. I _used_ to really like Freddie Prinze jr., I remember his father who was a great comedian and a BIG star on TV. The first Latino to cross over to the mainstream and was so talented. He had come up from nothing and was a great spokesman for the average guy or the struggling young man. And when he took his life only in its twenties, we all worried about poor young Freddie Prinze jr. . And now he grows up and talks just like the rest of the liberal Hollywood Elite that was the *exact opposite* of his father. His father spoke for The Regular Guy and fought against "the man" so to speak through his comedy, Freddie Prinze Junior thinks he IS the man that can cast all kinds of disparaging remarks to millions of people he doesn't even know. I highly encourage people to look up his father's clips on RUclips, the show was called "Chico and the Man" and he was the biggest star on TV when that show aired. In his stand-up comedy routines paved the way for very many Comics to come, not just the Latino ones but just general observational type humor before Seinfeld was even a known person. He was a genuinely funny kind and caring person that _never_ would have insulted and disrespected fans for having a different opinion, because that's *"not his job"* . (People who remember Freddie Prinze will get the reference.)
I know he’s going to get a lot of Star Wars love, but I also want to give a shout out to his role as Iron Bull in the Dragon Age series. I love Iron Bull!
What an awesome dude. Keep it up with the great guests Kristian! I would love to hear a more in depth conversation about Scooby-Doo and the development and production of those movies. From James Gunn initially going for an R rated stoner comedy to the G rated stoner comedy that it is. Me and buddies love that movie.
Holy shit another amazing episode Kristian these just keep getting better and Freddie you're fucking hilarious i loved your crossover episode of your show Freddie and George Lopez

This is one of the greatest episodes yet, and I'm not even half way done with it
I always liked Freddie Prince Jr. but now I like him even more. He is so chill he definitely would be cool to hang out and get a drink with. Kristian great interview!

He’s All That

I dont think I've seen another series that had such a emotional payoff as that scene. Great interview, was a fun watch with lots of cool stories and good thoughts on life.
My eyes still get watery every time I see the scene of Kanan dying.. It was so amazing and yes, so much emotion.
I started this without the intention of staying for the whole episode.. ..an hour later still watching..fantastic get mr. harloff.
Man, I love Freddie Prinze Jr. - I was looking forward to this one and it did not let me down. Loved the Andy Kaufman story, never heard that before and I’m a big Andy fan. Awesome to have an hour and a half of this gold.

How can Kristian not remember The Oregon Trail? I even played that game and I'm younger than him. That game was iconic, yo.
not to mention it was hilarious.

You can tell this dude is a GREAT Dad!

@@Blade_Runner_79 He became a good man, that's not sad. FPJ is not a drug addict like his father.
Wow this is the best episode and that's saying a lot since they have all been great
Loving these 1 on 1s! Please get Sarah Michelle Gellar on! She would have great story's 😁
it's amazing when Google Interrupts sponsors ad read with a commercial
Yeah
I could watch him interview Freddy every week
Freddie tells the best stories, if your a fan you should subscribe to his podcast prinze and the wolf
My boy Kristian has been killing it with this interview series. He's a great interviewer and knows about the guest.
Love to see someone preaching the teachings of Bruce Lee. Freddie is awesome!
Harloff kills me with his "sure sure sure sure."
NoVa verbal tic... plus tents look down his nose at people I know he doesn't mean to do that.
NoVa and "yeah-yeah-yeah"...
Love Freddy prince Jr. Grew up with all his movies my favorite is she's the one. Guy is chill and relatable compared to most people who were big stars in the 90s, didn't know he done all that he mentioned in his career, Great interview!!!
Had no idea about Freddie's Martial Arts background (all these years)... NOW I def want to see him on Rogan's (JRE) podcast as well.
Better than an interview, this was an absorbing conversation. Looking forward to more like this. Like the comment made earlier in this feed, consider this another request to please interview Sam Witwer.
Hope you get an interview with Sarah soon :)
So crazy man. Freddie went to Sandia Prep which is literally across the street from my grandparents. I see it every week. I thinking Albuquerque is a lot better now.. I've never seen any violence and I've been here my entire life.
Good to see how right they were about so many things being announced now
This was absolutely incredible. Would love to hear more stories from him.
You guys are doing a Part 2. I'm not asking. This was too good to be a one timer.
This was pretty damn cool. Not even a huge fan Freddie (my age, not his quality of work) and this was damn good. You are killing it Kristian, seriously. Plus Gegghead just caught a new subscriber..... between this interview and the little i've seen of him on Collider, damn.
Oh, cool! It's the, 'I busted my butt off being a SW fan', and SW Fredo. So insightful.
AWESOME INTERVIEW!
Hey Krisitian this is awesome!!!! All your episodes rock, but i have to give it to you. This episode is my favorite. Freddie came off so human and real. Kudos on the podcast and please keep it going!

"He will lie in court for you... and has!" 😂😂 Great line. Love the honesty from Freddie
What a legend FPJ is. Seems like such a genuinely nice guy. Lot of time for him.
