Galen Malek was almost a sith lord, but then turned Jedi last minute. he's the best of both sides... he was trained in almost every form of lightening combat, and no strict way of the force, to be versatile. after he died, his force ghost ended up inside his clone, which had already been imbued with midichlorians, effectively doubling his force strength, and became possibly the most powerful grey Jedi ever... soo... I don't think it matters that the other guy was a sith...
