DISCLAIMER: Not all HPE servers are the same dimensions. As a result of this, not all rail kits are compatible with these servers, even if they are the same generation and type. We go into more detail in this video, make sure you watch to save yourself from a potential headache!
This will be a very short and simple tutorial. We will attach a pair of sliding rails to our rack and then we will physically install our DL380 Gen10 onto the rails. Main obstacle - just make sure you line up your rails in the same spot within the rack. There is also a blue button on the side of the rail that need to be pushed to unlock and slide back into the rack. Again, this is a very simple video, but we wanted to make sure we covered all major aspects of the DL380 Gen10, including rails and rack mounting. what is the Size of the Rack that you installed this Servers !?

should we keep a space of 1U between the servers, do you have any best practice guide regarding this?

No. Fill it all the way up! These are testing racks for us to test bulk drives cpus and ram. Our techs like a space between to put the tray of parts they are testing. But space not needed in a real data center setting.

Never tried it. Wouldn't be surprised if you could... but not really designed for that use... if you do it... please come back and let us know how it goes. I would be very curious to hear! Take care.
