My mouth was watering as you cooked the fish. Dipped in eggs and flour with salt and pepper, fried in butter, a timeless way to cook fresh fish. Culinary perfection.

Greetings from a fellow Long Islander now in AZ. ❤ My dad used to go crabbing for fun. He once bought home a horseshoe crab to show us kids. He put it in the bathtub, and my sister refused to take a bath for a week.

Dad and Frank. You brought back some very old memories. My Dad would take us Crabbing on the Jersey side from the Statue of Liberty. We were not fishing for Blow Fish and when they were running we would be pulling crab traps full of blow Fish. They tasted so good.
I haven’t had them since probably 1964 or so.

Living in the Denver area now but grew up in the Boston area. We had boats and fished (not commercially) for fun. The scenery is the thing I miss most. Thank you for sharing.

WOW! Your Dad is amazing! He has passed on a wealth of information and survival skills to you, and shared them with those watching. I love his humor. He looks younger than me, in better shape than me, and yet I am a few years younger than him. This has been one of your very best videos yet! I love fishing and miss it so much, but I have always fished in a lake, on a canal bank, or on a river. Please give your Dad a huge hug from this old lady in Arizona and thank him for sharing his day with us.
