HE-MAN and the Incredible Halk were my favorites, such lovely memories sitting and waiting impatiently in front of the TV every Saturday morning to catch them.
Now I may have been watching this exact broadcast this day. I was 11 and living in Penn Hills. This brings back many great memories. Summertime 1987, Tammy Berger lived across the street and she was a couple years older than me. Everyday, about 11 am you could hear Bon Jovi "Living On A Prayer" blasting from her bedroom window from her boom box while the neighbor worked on his 85 Camaro a few doors up. Lunchtime would come around and so would my friends to see if I was coming out to play, and I always did. We were outside from morning to night. I miss those days.
Heinz Ketchup-Bring back Beagley Drug PSA-The Jets are still touring to this day..with only 3 of the original members McDonalds-later in the fall, the kid at 12:48 attended Bayside High School.. Dungeons & Dragons-the script for the final episode is a good read..i bet had the show been revived it would have involved the group returning to the realm,or a new villain and his forces crossing over into the "real world" Galaxy High-loved the theme song(by Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles)
Watching this and I can tell you what I was doing. After Saturday morning cartoons. We would have gone to my grandparents for the rest of the day and gone down to the waterfront to watch the fireworks show. At least part of that time I would be very bored. Good old days in Bremerton Washington.
Now you're TRULY warping my mind in a great way. Not only were these commercials aired 6 days after i was born, but near where i lived though it was Waynesboro. Thank you so much.
I remember when there was a Berenstain Bear Country in Dorney Park, too. It was eventually replaced with Camp Snoopy. I think that closed down not too long ago.
I think I used to have one of those Snow White posters a long time ago. I don't anymore though. Also, I recall Valleyfair having its own incarnation of Berenstain Bear Country back in the day. I never went into that part of the park whenever I visited on school field trips, but I knew that it existed.
The girl in the Heinz commercial was Morgan Nagler. She was on the 2nd and 3rd episodes of Punky Brewster. Was that Peter from the Cosby Show In that McGruff commercial?
Wow, found the exact day of the last time D&D was aired on Saturday mornings... I heard there was a finale but it never aired? I forget the specifics, though.
CBS Saturday Morning is great BUT WHY DO WE GET THE 1986-1987 CREEPY BUMPERS??? LA DA DEEEE DAHHHHH That was a close one with those Fryadactyls, Beagley. You gotta do better than that! He could not have handled that GALACTIC BATTLE BURGER! THIS.... IS GEAUGA LAKE. Thiamin, Niacin, Riboflavin! The only things I remembered from that cereal ad back in the day. Those old CBS bumpers we see later stayed on Storybreak reruns into the early 90s! NO..... I'M GAWWWWWNA WIN!
People need to stop taking offense at these kind of ads. They were literally aimed at children, who shouldn't be using drugs. McGruff doesn't want to take your weed away, ok?
There’s an innocence about these commercials, I miss those days.
We all do!
The last generation for Saturday morning cartoons...
Those were good times.

I HAD A GREAT time reliving the 80sness!!

We all had a "Tammy Berger" in our neighborhood 😁. Good times. I miss those days.
Happy 4th of July!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That little yellow cone with the swirly eyes used to freak me out! 😂
These when commercials were awesome and was so much fun to watch
Literally 😃
Loved that McNuggets commercial & those Levi’s-cool man!😎

This channel already showed one where I know for a fact I was watching the channel the same exact time/date when it aired 35 years ago.
I remember my sister making fun of the Jets anti-drug commercial. She would use to say be smart, don’t fart.
LoL
Nice memories
@@surajpatil3776 Thanks.
Brings back memories as a kid
Ahh the Berenstain Bears. Now it's the Peanuts gang at Cedar Point.
I remember when there was a Berenstain Bear Country in Dorney Park, too. It was eventually replaced with Camp Snoopy. I think that closed down not too long ago.
Ahh the fun times of 80s Saturday morning cartoons. Teen Wolf was a favorite of mine.
Ahhh great childhood memories !
Also... that Galactic Battle Burger looked pretty darn tasty!! :)
That Tang Scooter was a prelude to Razor Scooters.
So imaginative back then. Music kicked ass too!!
I think I used to have one of those Snow White posters a long time ago. I don't anymore though.

Most likely all of the theme parks owned and operated by Cedar Fair had the Berenstain Bear section around that time.
That Bubble Yum commercial... looks like they were transported into a Trapper Keepere cover.
Another amusement park in SW PA was/is Idlewild in Ligonier, Pa, who were a smaller cousin to Kennywood. I don't recall them advertising back then.
5:30 - Best face ever!
I remember the Heinz commercial when I was 6 years old
OMG How I looooooved Bonkers!
Wiish I saw these ads in 1987!
I need to start watching cartoons again...I'm so tired of seeing meds commercials and all the side of effects.
The girl in the Heinz commercial was Morgan Nagler. She was on the 2nd and 3rd episodes of Punky Brewster. Was that Peter from the Cosby Show In that McGruff commercial?
RIP Geauga Lake/SeaWorld Ohio, if only Six Flags and Cedar Fair were nicer to you :(
Wow, found the exact day of the last time D&D was aired on Saturday mornings... I heard there was a finale but it never aired? I forget the specifics, though.
This wasn't the last day it aired, as it continued to play that summer...presumably until the fall season started on September 19th.
So sad to go by Geauga Lake today
Its very sad..used to go there several times every summer

Cereal was so much better then! More sugar
CosMc looks a lot like a Jim Henson creation. Almost like a giant Twiddlebug.
was that Sasha Mitchell aka Cody Lambert in the passenger seat in the 3 Musketeers commercial?
Yes, he was in all of the Three Musketeers ads during this period
the singing Twizzlers commercial was so creepy
Users are losers and losers are users. Forgot about that jingle until now.
Lol haha my mom used to sing that to us
Wow, I forgot all about Giggles cookies.
I don't care for this announcer, compared to the previous announcer and Rick Dees.
As always thanks for the post! 👍🏾
The Pretty Ms. Pam Dawber
I love old drug PSAs, they were very hit and miss but they lied so much about what drugs would do.
People need to stop taking offense at these kind of ads. They were literally aimed at children, who shouldn't be using drugs. McGruff doesn't want to take your weed away, ok?
Awesome! ^^ Good old trippy late 80s!!
