I love this video! I really like what you said about not being a failure just because a “dream move” didn’t work out. I was hellbent on living in Colorado since I was a kid, but when I got there, I experienced the loneliest 5 years of my life. I left this past year and I am so relieved, but I have been struggling with feelings of being a failure because I couldn’t cut it. Your words are helping me reframe that situation. Thank you.

I love the idea of comparing yourself to past versions of yourself and also just taking note of where you can improve vs comparing yourself to other people...everyone comes from a different background with different resources, wants, and needs and so it's really good to keep that in mind. I appreciated that you said those things. ❤

Love your videos and I loved your comment in this one about asking yourself if you’re feeling societal pressure. As an introvert and not a very social person, I often feel like a failure in the eyes of society. I am trying to acknowledge that I don’t need to do what has been ingrained in me or “expected” of me. Being true to myself is more important and I feel overall a lot better when I do.

Hello! First time RUclips chatter, long time IG lurker. I’ve move around a BuNcH and it made it really hard to build a community of people. Now that I’m back in the Midwest for at least a chunk of time (~5 yrs min) I’m hoping to prioritize that aspect of my life and power through the awkward meetings and internal feelings of not being considered for an invite.
I love traveling and occasionally crafting, and aliens do exist.

The floral dress definitely get hemmed; the peach set I would say isn't worth it (it does kinda wash you out unless you think you're going to tan this summer); the white set looks sooo good on you, but I don't think it's necessary to alter it (it might be hard to sit in it if you get it tighter).

I have been wondering something when watching your videos. And maybe it's not my place to say something. Please ignore my comment if that's the case. But in case it benefits you: could your anxiety be caused by something like adhd ? I have been very anxious all my life. I recognize a lot of the things you talk about. I got diagnosed with adhd last year (I was 33 then). I have been tested before but did not get the diagnosis. They hadn't had the knowledge about adhd in girls back then. Turns out, now that I am treated for my adhd and medicated. My anxiety is disappearing. My ibs is disappearing. Most of my problems came from not managing undiagnosed adhd. This may not be the cause for you or you may already found out that adhd is In the picture for you and even shared it but I missed it. I don't know. It just really helped me and I'm just sharing in case it could help you too.
