As well as your dogs are trained. When you see evidence of them digging, as in the ground moving, get your dogs up close and they will want to see what is making the ground move. I had 2 dogs that could dig up and catch moles any day all day. The water flushing works, but you have to be there when the mole comes out of the tunnel because as soon as he is out he will have those front diggers digging close and be back under ground in less than 3-5 minutes and faster if the ground is soft. Just have a good pellet rifle or .22 handy and stop the digging. LOL. I found this out living in NE KS.

We use to fight the gophers in our hay field but finally got the upper hand. Mostly traps, but also some other methods.
