I just went back to Blue Magic (the blue one) bc it’s classic and it’s always made my hair flourish. My twist out have never looked better and I’m using it on my new baby
About three years ago, I remember tossing a half a jar of blue magic in the trash, thinking when I went natural all I needed was the natural hair products. Those products didn’t do 🤬. There is one line Kurlsys that’s bomb for wash day and leave in conditioner. But I couldn’t find anything to retain the moisture after wash day. Now, realizing that I was throwing away a little jar of gold. I have since restocked on all Blue Magic grease and the Dax pomade. All my natural products are in Walmart bags awaiting any takers. My hair is so soft and healthy with hair grease and my clove water, and lil shine and jam around my edges? I can’t believe I steered away from my hair grease! My 4b-4c hair was down my back when I was younger. 😭♥️
Yeah I got rid of grease too. I was so simple minded in the beginning. If the product didn’t specify whether it was for natural hair or not I didn’t use it or got rid of it
As someone with SD I can’t use it on my scalp but I do use it on my hair and it’s making a big difference…we grew up with these products nothing wrong with them…
I was finally able to find something to wash and moisturize my hair miss Jessie's, leave in and her buttercream and creame of nature shampoo so far no burning and blue magic the original love your video
Girl can you try Liv Hair cream? I remember that is a childhood gem of my relaxed hair , my mom bought it once and it worked so well and the smell is so nice too , smells like freshly bathed babies
I’m trying the blue magic . Did bleach 50 volume big mistake . I love my blonde hair but going back to natural healthy hair. My friend recommended blue magic . Thank you for your suggestions❤
I just did kinky twists with this. I was globbing it on. I'm hoping to have less breakage n tangling. I was using a edge control all over so it can look crispy. The edge control was thinning my hair! Making it weaker. On wash day I with glob each strand while it's warm. I'm conducting a test.
@@EngTalks-SpeakGrow when I do a wash in go I place a little at the ends, and when I do two braids in my natural hair I spritz a little h2o then grease scalp n ends. What's ur fb I'll show u how long it is
I literally just chucked this in the trash. I didn’t chuck it in the trash because it doesn’t work, but because it has a very undesirable effect of being extremely greasy. if I can put my hands in my head, Greece is all over them like I dipped them in oil, that means that my hair is not absorbing it, and it also was just too much for me. Also, overtime, I can only imagine the effect it will have on the leather headrest of my car.
Grease is not a moisturizer, it’s a sealant. You wash, condition and use leave in condition your hair then use a small bit of grease on your hair to seal in the leave in conditioner
Do the rubber bands in your hair not cause breakage? I want to use them for my twists cause my twists always come out without rubber bands but I’m scared that I might see breakage from them
I know a lot of people simply oil the rubber bands . My hair is greased so I figure it’s the same thing . Possibly oil them before taking them out too. Being gentle and keep the hair moisturized seems to be key
I have used Blue Magic since the 90’s and just used it on my hair today. It’s definitely a staple for me.
You can definitely use it on relaxed hair. I used it when I was relaxed and it worked well.
